An outstanding B&B right in the centre of town. We stayed in both the largest (double) and smallest (single) bedrooms - both perfect for our needs. Charles and Christine know how to run a B&B and do it with hospitability and style. Extensive breakfasts, good quality linens, huge towels, and private parking directly behind the house. This is a good...

This was my second stay at the Oronsay House, and I enjoyed it every bit as much as my first a few years ago. Christine is a warm and very capable host and genuinely cares that her guests are comfortable and well looked after. The rooms and overall facilities at the Oronsay House are modern, comfortable and well cared for,...

This is a perfectly presented bed and breakfast a mere 10 minutes walk from the centre of Alnwick, the castle & gardens. Charles & Christine are attentive hosts whose aim is to make your stay the best it can be. We stayed in the room with the 6ft bed. More a suite than a room. Highly recommended.

The b&b is lovely. Had the nicest welcome with hot drinks and delicious homemade cakes. The rooms are large and have very comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean with crisp, white linen. We had the largest room with the 6 foot bed and can honestly say its the nicest b&b we have stayed at (and we do go away a lot!). The...

We stayed at Oronsay House on the 29th & 30th Sept 2016, the B&B was extremely clean & tidy throughout. The rooms were spacious with good facilities. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and gave us a great start to the day. The location is superb with the added bonus of off street parking, a rarity so close to town centre....

Have stayed at this super little guest house many times, it never fails to meet your expectations. It is clean, tidy and well maintained, with good sized rooms and is within easy access of the town centre. Off street parking is a real plus, but the best part has to be the quality and variety of the breakfast. The owners...

I found Charles and Christine Scott very professional when they greeted us. Charles explained the routine very clearly. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. You also get to pre-order your breakfast. The bedroom was spotless. I can recommend Oronsay House to anyone visiting Alnwick.

Biscuits and water left every day in room including day of departure. Good variety of teas and coffee in room. Good location for town and castle. Would recommend this B & B and hope...

Named after the well-known 1950s ocean liner and first class all the way. Outstanding accommodation, space, comfort and attention to detail - with the warmest of welcomes from Charles and Christine. Probably the best B&B breakfast quality and choice we've ever had - and the awards come as no surprise. Convenient town centre location. Good choice of restaurants nearby.Really looking...
