Based on the tripadvisors reviews we booked a four night break. We were not disappointed from the moment we arrived until we left Maureen and Peter made our stay absolutely wonderful. The breakfast is amazing we didn't need to eat again until late afternoon. The plums in honey are truly delicious. We stayed in church view room, no disturbance to... More

Thank you Maureen and Peter for being excellent hosts. This is a lovely comfortable place to stay in a very convenient location in Alnwick. We had the Church View room and as others have said the Church Bells do chime through the night but earplugs are provided. The breakfasts were lovely as was the tea and cake on arrival, very... We stayed here for 3 nights in the Courtyard View Room. The room was spacious and the bathroom was amazing. The B&B is full of wonderful antique furniture and it fells really homely and in a great location with easy access by foot into Alnwick. The breakfast was super with lovely fruit, home-made jams, wonderful bacon, sausage and black pudding.... More

We stayed in the church view room. The room is lovely, with nice roll top bath in the ensuite. Good location, handy for the local attractions and restaurants. Our room had a nice view of the church but unfortunately the church bells ringing every 15 minutes through the night meant we did not sleep well (although ear plugs were provided!).... More

We have been in England for two weeks and this B&B was the absolute best. The decor was absolutely remarkable. We stayed in the Church View room and simply didn't want to leave. Maureen and Peter were as welcoming as family. We arrived early, they took us in and served a proper tea (with sweets), they let us park on... More

We spent two days in Alnwick over Easter. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival with tea and cake, and some helpful ideas for our stay from Maureen. The rooms are very imaginatively decorated, with plenty to look at and admire, and lots of information about the pictures etc. in the room. Breakfast was excellent and the bed... More
