On arrival I had to phone someone to come to reception so we could check in, not what you need after a lot of travelling. The room stunk of mould, the window frames were very mouldy this was very bad news for my Asthma, the lady at reception did arrange for cleaning products for this. Brown stain on the carpet left nothing to the imagination. No plug sockets anywhere near the bed so I couldn't use my CPAP machine to aide my breathing while sleeping. It was very noisey with people in the carpark and doors banging all night. Not what you need after attending a family funeral. we couldn't wait to leave. Emailed a complaint and it wasn't even acknowledged.

Stayed here for one night, very handy to be so close to Rushden Lakes shopping centre. The room was clean but basic, but it had everything that I needed. The room was overlooking the car park but it was very quiet so had no issues with sleeping. Overall a very handy location to stay at.

We stumbled across the Travelodge when we were looking for accommodation whilst at the nearby Sywell Piston & Props event and cannot praise it enough. John on reception went out of his way to help us from the moment we arrived. Ive stayed in a number of budget hotels for work but the customer services here was way beyond anything I’d previously experienced or expected. Adjacent to the hotel is a large shopping centre and lake where you will find a number of very popular restaurants for your evening meal too

I stay at this travelodge a few times a year. It is great value for money. The staff are always friendly and the location convenient - especially now just a short walk from Rushden Lakes and its restaurants and facilities.

Reception staff pleasant and informative. Hand sanitiser in reception. Room spacious and clean. No decaf tea or coffee. Carpets tired looking and worn in places. When windy , we were in end room, it was like being in a noisy wind tunnel. Convenient so would stay again
