We stayed here for a special weekend. We were made to feel very welcome. Food was amazing and beautifully presented. Decoration could be described as a little tired but everything else was excellent so it couldn't have mattered less. Highly recommend it and will definitely be going back.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting Silverstone for a racing event and whilst the village is stunning and the outwardly so is the hotel we were left with a bad taste. Not from the food which was lovely albeit limited choice and very small and I mean very small portions. There was was a certain arrogance about the place, as...

Throughly enjoyed our visit here, the food was lovely and beautifully presented and service was unobtrusive but the wait staff were there when needed. The menu changes frequently using seasonal ingredients, so we look forward to our next visit.

Courteous and very friendly with a knowledgeable staff. Q: From the young waiter. 'Is everything OK?' A: 'Certainly not. It's wonderful!' This is the best restaurant for miles. Access is at the rear. The front door is usually closed.

This is a typical occasion whereby the internet portrays a fantastic venue that in reality is nothing like. I booked this hotel/restaurant (they need to make up their minds which one they are as not doing a great job at both) as a stop over for a day at Towcester races. I arrived early, 9:30, so couldn't check in and...

First time visiting after recently moving to the area! Will definitely be back. Food was great. Service was great. Couldn't ask for more! If you're ever passing through you should definitely pop in. You will not be let down

I stayed in what was referred to as the small single room so I was surprised that it was roomy and very comfortable, ample for my single night stay. The room was very clean, only one point against, although the toilet had one of those paper bands around the seat the underside had not been checked which was a bit...

Dropped in for dinner whilst on a business trip and cannot fault the place. Had the three course dinner deal they offer and don't know how they can maintain that standard at £33 a head when you'd pay £80/90 for something similar in London. Will be back again and recommending to friends and family.
