What a beautiful blissful place, with its historic old English exterior this hotel is just devine. The views are to die for and certainly makes you appreciate what a great country we live in. Waking up to the sound of lambs in the fields that surround this glorious place to listening to the birds whilst relaxing in the plunge pool...

My wife and I stayed at Fawsley hall for the second time in 5 years and once again we were very impressed. They have given the place a bit of a facelift but it has not ruined the sense of history and atmosphere. The Spa area is very understated and the resturant served excellent food. The grounds are fantastic to...

Had a wonderful spa at at Fawsley Hall. A lovely small spa but has all you need. Was very relaxing and not over crowded. The full body massage was amazing. We had lunch in the main restaurant which was very nice. Afternoon tea was served in the main hall. And it was fab. Good choice of sandwiches and teas.

We stayed at Fawsley Hall again for my partner's birthday in April. Having been unimpressed by the vegetarian food during our last visit in February, I was interested to see whether it would be any better. We upgraded our meal again and the chef really tried to meet our requirements this time, so thank you. I would also like to...

Our daughter highly recommended Fawsley Hall Hotel, so we went there with them for an enjoyable and relaxing weekend last week. It’s a beautiful hotel, set in typically “English” countryside (think frolicking lambs, oak trees, lakes) with lovely gardens surrounding the hotel. The hotel has been carefully refurbished - and thoughtfully done. Our beautiful bedroom had the best view of...

We spent an excellent Valentines weekend, at Fawsley Hall, and despite the hotel being completely full, the service was excellent throughout, we enjoyed a fine dinner, qualifty breakfast and relaxed in the comfortable spa. The House itself has been beautifully restored, and is set in pretty historic countryside. We will be back.

A close friend brought us both an overnight Spa stay with dinner, bed and breakfast as a special birthday treat gift for me. And what a treat ... We attended a family wedding at Fawsley at the beginning of the month. The service was excellent, the venue perfect (particularly the church) and the food was exceptional. We stayed one night for our wedding anniversary and, while the hotel and setting are beautiful, we were given room 49 in a separate building. This required walking across deep gravel which ruined a lovely pair of heels walking to and from dinner in the evening. The room itself has an upstairs bathroom which looks nice at first but the...

Had a really fabulous stay here recently. Gorgeous setting and a beautiful hotel. A corporate hosted evening & night following a day at Silverstone. We were really well looked after with great food and an extensive beverage selection on offer! Will be heading back for a spa break with the husband shortly.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Steeped in tradition and history, Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire is a beautiful country house hotel surrounded by formal gardens and parkland landscaped by Capability Brown in the 1760s. It was a home built for entertaining: Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and other monarchs all enjoyed its fine hospitality, and that tradition continues to this day. The hotel has been awarded 4 AA red stars and 2 Rosettes for its Cedar Restaurant, which offers a host of treats, not least of which is afternoon tea, a much loved tradition within our walls. ... more   less
