Fawsley Hall is an excellent example of an older country house. It's very comfortable, and has a very scenic setting being situated within its own 2000 acres. My room was nice, and the staff were all polite and helpful, especially Sophie at reception, who is very friendly, really went out of her way to be helpful, and also gave a...

I'm delighted you had such an excellent stay here at Fawsley Hall and found all aspects of your stay to be so good. The building is certainly stunning and following recent investment still retains its traditional charm and character but now provides our guests with the modern touches to ensure an even more comfortable and relaxing stay. I do hope...

This is my second visit here and I was not disappointed. It is charming, full of character and history however has all the luxury and amenities of today. The rooms are beautifully furnished, no expense has been spared. The food is excellent, the staff are very professional and nothing is too much trouble. It is one of the hand picked...

We booked a table in the restaurant for lunch, receiving an email confirming the booking. However when we turned up the restaurant was shut. This was especially disappointing as it was a wedding anniversary celebration (we were married at Fawsley) and so had taken the day off work and travelled an hour to get there. The staff weren't too apologetic...

I was so saddened to read your comments and apologise for the confusion over your restaurant booking and the disappointment it caused you both. This has been fully addressed with the reservations team and I'm pleased that this has now been discussed and resolved directly with you.

I booked this hotel as a birthday surprise for my wife, as we drove up to the hotel it looked amazing, ample parking and just a short walk to reception. The reception team were amazing and so proud of their hotel, and rightfully so. The lady who checked us in then showed us around the hotel, from the Tudor Room,...

Happy birthday to your wife! I'm so pleased that you both had a wonderful stay to celebrate such a special occasion. We stayed here last year shortly after Hand Picked took it over - terrible!, now a year on, wonderful, from check-in through to departure, nothing was too much trouble, food and quality of room both excellent, found a couple of country walks for peace and quiet. Although an hour's drive a trip to the National Memorial Arboretum is well worth...

My girlfriend and I drove past the hotel last year and were looking for an excuse to try it out; the setting is amazing and the hall is equally impressive. A weekend in Northants provided us with the chance. We stayed here for one night on 23/08/2015 and were not disappointed. The check in was slick and speedy and the...

Beyond the call of duty in fact. You cannot go wrong here...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Steeped in tradition and history, Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire is a beautiful country house hotel surrounded by formal gardens and parkland landscaped by Capability Brown in the 1760s. It was a home built for entertaining: Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and other monarchs all enjoyed its fine hospitality, and that tradition continues to this day. The hotel has been awarded 4 AA red stars and 2 Rosettes for its Cedar Restaurant, which offers a host of treats, not least of which is afternoon tea, a much loved tradition within our walls. ... more   less
