Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Room was clean and tidy, staff were lovely on arrival. Had an issue that they easily resolved for us on the day and were happy to help make our stay a good one. We slept fine, the cost of the stay was reasonable and the over all experience was a good one. Highly recommend

Stayed here for a few weeks and it has the best services you can get. Big thanks to the management and especially Olivia for making our stay worthwhile. If you’re on a business trip up in Darlington or Catterick, I suggest Scotch Corner. We will be back for more 🫶🏻

Bed very uncomfortable, not enough towels in room, pube found in bath, cold shower, however staff amazing. As a quick and easy stop, fine, but £60 for a night, a bit expensive for what u get. Will stay elsewhere if have to visit Catterick again.

Been mOre or less living here for 18 months now for work and I can’t rate the staff highly enough polite and friendly and nothing is ever to much trouble. I wish I could find something negative but thankfully I can’t. Keep up the good work management and staff

After a long day and 150 mile drive we were greeted by a super member of staff called Sarah. Helpful and informative in every way. Cannot fault the place and can say I've spent many nights at much greater expense without approaching the friendliness and professionalism here. Great work. Thanks Sarah.....

Good location for motorway, easy to find, basic. Shower pressure non existent, staff not really helpful, tv pixelated all the time and signal poor. No road noise so that was a bonus and the cleanliness could have been better.

Our room was fine and the bed was very comfy. Slept very well . Value for money. We thought it would be noisy whilst in bed but we did not hear a thing . Would stay again and recommend to family and friends

Overall room satisfactory but had an issue registering the car for free parking still not sur whether it was completed as receptionist said she would sort. Also told to collect breakfast box in the morning however reception was closed until the afternoon. I found a cleaner who was able to get my breakfast just as I was leaving.

A great place for a Travelodge, with food outlets and a service station on the same site. We've been here before and as always the hotel is clean, warm and comfortable. The reception staff and the cleaning staff are all pleasant and welcoming and Sarah, on reception goes out of her way to be helpful.
