I only stayed here for one night, but would happily go back. As a solo traveller I often see the dingier rooms, but this was a very comfortable loft space with a good range of useful accessories. There was even fresh milk stored in a mini fridge on the landing - a real treat!

After walking from Grosmont, staying at the Manning Tree is just perfect. The friendly welcome was just what was needed to a tired walker. The bedroom was very nice and freshly decorated, with a clean modern ensuite. Breakfast was excellent. Katy and Steve were excellent hosts. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

A stay at the Manning Tree is definitely the perfect way to end the C2C walk ( or any stay in Robin Hood's Bay ). Katy and Steve could not be more perfect hosts! We have stayed there more times than I can count, and no request of ours ( and they have been numerous! ) has ever been too...

What a fantastic place. We were made so welcome, along with our 8 yr old son who had a twin room. He was very impressed with his own en-suite and TV. We had the largest room at the front which was spot on. Attention to detail is great and as well as a first class breakfast, there was plenty of...

Not being people who frequent the B+B scene, we were astonished at the standard of this fine establishment and the friendly welcome we received. Locally sourced produce for breakfast a, relaxed atmosphere and helpful local information allowed us to discover a part of the world we have previously overlooked. This was our second visit and won't be our last.

This was our second visit to The Manning Tree and it won't be our last. We have now stayed in the double and the king-size rooms and found both to be exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Our hosts were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast was great; my husband really enjoyed his meaty meal and I felt my vegetarian...
