Just returned from our third vacation at Brompton Lakes. Can’t fault the lodges or setting. Everything you need for a getaway and SPOTLESS. Staff are very helpful regarding the area and nothing Is too much trouble. The grounds are very well maintained and wildlife constantly entertaining. We have two holidays booked for 2023 at Brompton Lakes so that says it all . Can’t get enough of the idyllic location

Just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay at Brompton Lakes. 10 of us stayed in 21, the largest of the lodges. A well laid out floor plan and well decorated and furnished place. The lodge is designed to accommodate 12 persons. The 10 of us found it more than ample fir space and room. There was more than enough pots, pans. Cutlery, crockery and glassware to use. I can't think of anything that we wanted for. The little courtyard out door space was excellent for our BBQ. A great wood fired hot tub that was easy to maintain a large bench and seating. Best of all the BBQ fire itself was situated inside a nice little outbuilding where we could all sit under cover around the BBQ itself. I cannot think of any negative at all even the most insignificant one.

Just returned from a break at Lodge 21 -6 bed beautiful and spacious. Total of 11 girlfriends for our bride to be’s Hen’ do. We wanted a relaxing time with chance to all catch up before the big day and this was the perfect place. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and the bathrooms large and very modern. The huge living space was more than ample and we never felt on top of each other. Huge kitchen area with everything you need with an equally large utility with washer and dryer. The outside space with hot tub, and bar area again well thought out and also secure for kids and dogs. The BBQ house we used with everything there for several bbqs if needed. Lovely walk around the park and I can imagine all the lodges are of similar standard. Plenty of towels and robes for everyone. Welcome pack was lovely touch. We walked into Richmond stopping at Easby Abbey ruins which was fascinating to see. The walk was lovely and took about an hour without the stop. I will definitely return for family or friends get together. We also booked beauty treatments which were fantastic and the Cocktail night which went down a storm. Thanks to Joe from Louisiana’s Mobile Bar. Great value for money!

This was our first visit to Brompton Lakes and our expectations were surpassed tenfold. On entering the site you feel relaxed and on entering our Chalet Iris we knew we were in for a wonderful few days. The location is superb, set around the lakes full of wildlife which were mesmerizing with different kinds of birds and their babies. The chalet was furnished to a high standard with every amenity you could want . The beds were super comfy and bathrooms excellent. The kitchen had everything to accommodate 6 people with a great dining table set looking out over the large deck complete with table and chairs and furniture too. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good but we did have a couple of lovely sunsets. It's only a short drive into Richmond . Don't hesitate to book here if you want a peaceful 5☆ holiday weve already booked again for next year!

We had a fabulous 5 day break at Brompton Lakes last week. The lodge surpassed our expectations, it was beautifully decorated , with everything you could want. The views and secluded veranda were amazing. Weather was good , so it was lovely to sit out with your morning cuppa , just you and the ducks, swan and her cygnet. Would certainly recommend it for a couple or group of friends, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect setting. Relaxing, picturesque, peaceful. Home from home. This was our 6th visit, never disappoints and continues to maintain high quality services. Everything you need is provided. Check in process is straightforward and welcome pack on arrival offers just what is needed after travelling. The walk into Richmond via Easby Abbey is always stunning by the river to Richmond Station. Recommend the Black Bull at Moulton for lunch or dinner. We will be back.

We went as a party of Eight and stayed in the Flora and the Luis Lodges .The Lodges are stunning and the wild life is amazing . We were lucky to get cold but sunny weather but our last day we could actually sit out without a coat which was wonderful. The beds are so comfortable We all will certainly come back. It is so easy to go into Richmond. The only thing I would say is take Shower Gel and shampoo etc as there is only a tiny travel size bar of soap

We stayed at lodge 21 and the place is amazing. The living and dining area was superb and we even had a Christmas tree in the festive period. Despite all the windows the temperature was perfect, so as a group of friends we were very comfortable and the hot tub was a great touch, we didn’t manage to use the BBQ hut, however during summer I could see this being a good entertaining night. The location was good, only a few minutes away from Richmond where we went for meals out and supplies but also a nice walk to Easby abbey close by. My only minor gripes with the stay was that the hot tub was heated by burning logs, so a little inconvenience during the winter having to keep an eye on it, but mainly because the tub wasn’t covered, so a couple nights it was raining it wasn’t as enjoyable. Finally the check in and out times, 4.30 is quite a late check in but also the very early 10am check out - by 9.30 On the day we had cleaners queuing up waiting to come in and clean the place, so I’m not sure why it would take so long to hand the property over, I’m sure these can be looked into but doesn’t take away from the amazing accommodation here at Brompton.

What a perfect place to celebrate our daughter’s 30th birthday and include our 3week old granddaughter. We stayed in Percy lodge and found it so comfortable, well equipped and relaxing. The welcome pack was a real treat, but unfortunately we didn’t find time to carve our pumpkin ! There was an amazing supply of logs for the log burner and the burner to heat the hot tub, which we all enjoyed. What really impressed me from the very first time I called in January, was the friendliness of every person I have spoken to. A very special place in a great location , just walking distance to Richmond. Can’t wait to come back!

Our first visit and staying in Jasper. On arrival the sun was shining ( yes sun in October in north York’s who’d have thought!!) perfect for sitting out on the decking with a drink to take in the beautiful view. It was so peaceful the only noise we could hear was the river close by and the wildlife welcoming party who came up to have nosey at their new neighbours. Inside the lodge is spacious, clean and well equipped, you literally only have to take food supplies. The welcome basket was full of delicious goodies. Wood burner easy to use and warms the whole place up very quickly. The lodge is beautifully decorated throughout and didn’t disappoint. We stayed for a long weekend and have already booked to go again. The only gripe we had was in relation to the checkin/out times. Not being able to check in until 16:30 and having to check out at 09:30 really shortens the trip. On top of that having to strip all your bedding (placing in laundry bag) prior to departure puts stops to any kind of relaxed breakfast and is miles away from the 5* experience! Can’t understand this now we are beyond the strict COVID restrictions from earlier in the year. This is why we couldn’t give the property the full overall “excellent “ rating and opted for a 4 “very good “. But like I said we will be going again and again and probably again.
