Went for evening meal Wednesday. Had liver in what was supposed to be onion gravy It had onions but onions not softened no not oniony gravy, but an awful blackiish sludge. Wife had pie which was OK ish but ruined by same black sludge as gravy. Chips tasted as if cooked in old fat or oil.

Called in for some light lunch. Staff all pleasant and friendly. Food was decent and inexpensive and chef came out personally to present his fare. It would not be somewhere we go for an evening meal but for a lunch it did the job.

From first arrival until we checked out the following morning we were made so welcome by this family run hotel. The room was very comfortable with a super view over the hills. The food was very well done and extremely good value. Nothing was any trouble to the lovely staff. Highly recommended

Picked this pub so we could have a drink before going to bed on an evening. Woman serving with blonde hair was tutting, looking at watch, huffing and puffing walking past constantly, putting stools up around us at quarter to 11. I'd be so mad if I employed someone who treated customers like this! Or if it is your pub...

I've eaten here on a number of occasions and there's an excellent choice of meals which are good value. WiFi and tvs. Great...

I had a lovely time, stayed for four nights. It was a proper treat, fabulous breakfasts, nice room, very tastefully decorated. Overlooking the street not the valley but hey ho, you don't spend that long gazing out of the window. Quite good attention to detail - there's a fridge which I always appreciate. A mattress topper and lovely quality bedding...
