OK, our view was over the car park, but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and spacious. There are lots of sitting around places in the hotel and the grounds are absolutely lovely for a short wander about. Breakfast was amongst the best we've had. We were made to feel welcome and could have stayed for much longer.

This was our first visit to Grinkle Park to celebrate my Husbands Birthday. I can honestly say from start to finish we had the most perfect time. What made our visit so special was the lovely staff, great location, spacious bedroom and amazing food. The staff couldn't do enjoy to help and this makes all the difference. They even left...

After a hectic birthday week I used one of my gift vouchers for an afternoon tea treat. We have passed the Grinkle Park Hotel sign many times en route to the coast, but never ventured down the lane leading to it. A long drive led us to the car park, a short distance from reception where we were warmly greeted...

Beautiful grounds and house. Staff from reception to waiters/waitresses all very friendly . Good choice of tea/coffee (although surprisingly no leaf tea ) and sandwiches, though my wife disappointed there didn't appear to be any watercress in smoked salmon and watercress sandwiches. As usual we had to bring some of the food home. Enjoyed a stroll around the grounds before returning...

The drive up to the hotel was stunning tree lined well kept gardens and a very friendly gardener who greeted us warmly As we entered the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who explained afternoon tea and directed us to a beautiful lounge to wait as we were half...

We stayed for dinner bed and breakfast and paid for a superior room. The food was good and the room was large. The bed could have been a bit better but overall the stay was enjoyable. There are lovely gardens to walk round but we thought it a shame that there was no seating near the lake area. The only...

We have again paid a visit to one of our favourite hotels this weekend, Grinkle Lodge. First the moan I guess, the package advertises a spring cream tea, in actual fact this wa sa cheese scone with choice cream cheese and a rhubarb & custard dessert - really not my idea of a cream tea at all, and in all...

My wife and I have just returned from a one nights stay at the hotel. Our package included an afternoon tea, consisting of a cheese scone and rhubarb and custard with a large pot of tea and coffee. We thought it was slightly unusual but it was very enjoyable. We also had a 3 course evening meal of pate, pork...
