A wonderful place to stay in a fantastically picturesque area. The room was so very comfortable, immaculately turned out and very welcoming at the end of a long day walking in the Dales. The effort made with welcoming our dog was also notable and made our weekend that bit more enjoyable. Would recommend this to anyone, without exception.

We stayed at Stow House for my husband's birthday treat, and it certainly was a treat from beginning to end. The booking was easy, and the local knowledge on where to eat and walk was forthcoming even before our stay. On arrival, we were greeted with phenomenal warmth: Sarah is a fantastic host, full of fascinating local information and excellent...

I'd always wanted to visit Aysgarth thanks to my love of Robin Hood Prince of Thieves but just never got round to it, so when a last minute long weekend came round I thought why not. I found Stow House via booking, com and to me it stood out as the best in the area, I loved the idea of a...

Not much to say really other than Stow House, Sarah and Phil, Aysgarth and the Yorkshire Dales are superb! We travel quite a bit and have yet to find anywhere better. If you've never stayed at Stow House then do so! We will be back, thanks very much looking after us so well.

We spent the weekend at The Stow Inn and the hotel was everything and more than what we expected. Sarah was really friendly and made us feel so welcome. The bedroom was immaculate along with rest of the hotel. The full English breakfast was beautiful which put us in good stead for our sightseeing. The Stow Inn is in a...

We booked a 1 night get away quite late. Always a challenge but with the added complexity of a dog in tow too. We were delighted when we were able to get a room at the Stow House. Followed up promptly by Sarah to confirm and then a few days before another email to recommend dinner and things to do....

This was our second visit in three months and once again every aspect of our stay was perfect - from the warm welcome you receive on arrival, the beautiful rooms with wonderful baths, the chocolate brownies, punch-packing cocktails and breakfasts to die for. And all this in the most magnificent old vicarage which has been painstakingly and lovingly refurbished to...

We have just spend a family weekend at Stow House and it could have been better. The photos on tripadvisor do not do this justice. The views from the luxurious bedrooms are sublime and the welcome we received made you feel relaxed straight away. The breakfast was wonderful and set us up for a beautiful walk down to the Falls...
