Myself and my friend went for a twilight experience. £69 as advertised for 3 hours use of the Spa and facilities at Ragdale, and a two course light supper. We arrived shortly before 6pm as our Spa experience started at 6:30pm until 9:30pm and confusingly went to the front desk, to then got shown to the reception desk to then... More

My friend and I booked a 2 night spa break. We organised our itinerary before we arrived and the staff were very helpful booking in treatments, exercise classes and meal times so that when we arrived we could concentrate on total relaxation. On arrival our bags were unloaded and the car was parked for us. A complimentary coffee was provided... More

Booked a 3 night stay in a Superior room for my daughter's 30th Birthday - she had worked at Ragdale for nearly 4 years and had been left 15 months and we had never stayed. From booking our room and package, arrival and for the whole of our stay I cannot list one negative about this place. It is amazing... More

A friend and I went for a "Twilight package" which consisted of use of the amazing spa, a luxury treatment and dinner... the most relaxed I've felt in a long time. The staff are warm and friendly and truly understand customer service. I would highly recommend a visit!

Just returned from my final visit this year. Spafinder Wellness travel awards have named the spa as the best in the UK. The staff are what make Ragdale so special. Each and everyone is committed to making your stay as special as possible. An infinity pool is under construction to be opened next summer and the exercise pool is being... More

Just checked in for our 5th visit. Exercise pool is closed for 6 months for some sort of refurb. Settled in to relax on the side of the main pool when all of a sudden the best hits of the 80s started up at full volume for an aqua aerobics class for 4 people. Cue about 18 people looking daggers... More

After years of thinking I wasn't a "Spa Day" person, I've just enjoyed my second visit to Ragdale Hall, with my sister, who is a regular. We did the Refresh & Revive Spa Day, with the fifty minute Body Massage & Pure Radiance Facial. Everything at Ragdale is spot on. Efficient, friendly staff, amazing facilities, lovely food, fab atmosphere. Everywhere... More

My daughter took me as a birthday treat, to experience the spa facilities and have a mud wrap, with coconut head massage, followed later by a meal in the Verandah bar. The spa was great, with various rooms of steam and dry heat. Some with coloured mood lighting, others with salt steam, or soothing music. Relaxing, quiet rooms to laze... More

This has to be the best spa in the country, and I've been to a few!!!! stayed here last weekend with my sister, we chose the luxury break and a suite over looking the grounds. I don't really get why this place is so popular. The facilities are very good and the spa area very well laid out. But this was vastly overshadowed by the mediocre treatments, outdated rooms and the disappointingly unfriendly and, frankly, stern and unhelpful reception staff. The saving grace was the incredibly lovely manager who went out of his way to... More
