I spent six nights at Stonepits farm as a much needed escape from London. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable; the shower modern and effective. The adjacent lounge/breakfast room provided a place to relax in the rather long November evenings (and avoided the impression of living in a tiny bedsit). The breakfasts were first class with plentiful choice, local farm eggs and homemade jam. Nothing to complain about at all; one of the best B&Bs I have found!

We stayed here for 1 night at the end of October. We received a very warm welcome from Sue who is a great host, very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. We had the downstairs King Room which was very comfortable, clean and warm with an amazing range of amenities, from homemade cake to spare reading glasses. The en-suite shower room is very nice with a great shower and was very well stocked with toiletries and anything you might have forgotten. There is also a really nice guest lounge and the B&B is in a peaceful location so we got a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was lovely with a wide range of choice. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend without hesitation.

We spent 4 nights with Sue and Mark at their beautiful bed and breakfast. Everything was so lovely, the setting, the yummy breakfasts, Sue and Mark’s welcome and warmth, the room, the facilities. The farmhouse is in a rural setting in a small rural English village and is in close proximity to the larger town of Melton Mowbray as well as to other small villages where we found some delightful English pubs to eat out at. The whole area is incredibly picturesque. We can not recommend Stonepit’s Farm highly enough for everything it offers and the the lovely owners who do everything they can to make your stay wonderful. Thank you so much Mark and Sue for sending us home with fond memories. Meredith and David Australia

We stayed in the beautiful double room. The whole place is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything has been thought of to make your stay pleasurable and the host could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the home-made cake in our room was a lovely touch.
