Stayed here for a couple of nights in between house hunting and it has been a lovely restful place for some downtime in between. The room is wonderful, very warm and cosy and the bed is excellent. Full tea and coffee making facilities with cookies on arrival. Wifi works perfectly here and there's signal even in this rural area. Very close to Melton Mowbray and nearby towns so easy to get out and about. The breakfast is excellent, you can pretty much have whatever you want. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, and I will be sure to stay in touch with them. By the way I popped into Scalford Hotel just a minute drive down the road and I would highly recommend staying here over and above that place. It's half the price with free parking, wifi and lovely breakfast and its cosy, modern and clean. Scalford hotel is old and dusty and expensive! There are spiders, dust and cobwebs everywhere- unless you like paying double or triple the amount for an ugly hotel set in the 1960s! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone you will not be disappointed :)

Lovely place to stay whilst visiting family. Made very welcome, room pretty, clean, warm and comfy. Bathroom small but did the job with complimentary toiletries, fluffy towels and bathrobes.Quiet too despite road at the front. Beautiful views.Had our own room for breakfast which also contained a fridge and microwave if we wanted to use it and a log fire. Breakfast was one of the best we've had whilst staying away over the years, and was very nicely presented. Would definitely stay again and big thanks to our hosts.

We spent 2 nights here and we're very happy, good bed, good breakfast. Lovely host and cute dogs. The location near Melton is great and we would definitely stay again. Nice touches such as use of the fridge and sands knowledge and recommendations.
