Always expect Britannia Hotels to be better than this but the price was good. Staff - mixed. Bar staff were really friendly. Room - ok, not the most welcoming, bland and a little dated. Clean and comfortable though. Food was terrible, had a meal deal that was bland and dry...

Stayed here on 1st march, steps up to the main door covered with cigarette ends, room dirty around the edges of bedroom and bathroom, mould around the window. Evening meal looked as if it had been out since the afternoon and presented in the pans it had been cooked in very unappetising. Bar area dirty, broken tiles on bar. Breakfast...

Stayed here in a family room, the room is very dated as is the tv lol... Needs complete refurb. But our room cost £ 29 for the night so I am not complaining... One bit. All the sheets, towels are clean. staff friendly especially the Wigan latics fan who works in the bar, top lad.

On arriving in the car park you couldn't help but notice how dirty every window was, then walking in you was greeted by a mass...

Stayed here for one night on a National Holiday package. Although a cheap break I expect a certain standard. My room was filthy, not been hovered and dusty. The dust was coming from huge cracks in the ceiling/coving. Behind the bathroom door was dust and hairs, toilet roll holder broken and some brown mark on the door. A huge pile...

We stayed here as part of a two day break with travel style, and after reading previous reviews for this hotel on Tripadvisor, I wasn't exactly looking forward to staying here. But on the whole I found it to be perfectly reasonable for one night. The room was rather tired looking, but aside from the suspicious stains on the chairs......

Before I start my rant, may I just say that all the terrible reviews on here are spot on!!! We stayed in the hotel on the night of the 22nd of February as part of a package with National Holidays. The minute we walked into the rooms we were completely disgusted! They were thick of dust, looked like they hadn't...
