This hotel, is very out dated in need of a refurb. Not the cleanest of hotels either. However, I met my soon to be husband in this crummy hotel so it holds some sentimental value to me. I can't be too cruel about it for that reason. The food is actually okay, it's big. And cheap! You get what you...

Having been sent to stay at this hotel through work to say it was disappointing would be an understatement. I am guessing the hotel gives heavily discounted business rates, tour companies or B & B for refugees. Almost all of the guests staying here seemed to fall into one of these categories. As I did not have a choice about...

The room was dirty, the bed tiny and hard - everything shabby and tacky. We were situated behind reception and staff were constantly moving about banging the doors. At 4am we had had enough and packed up and left - the staff member who signed us out could not have cared less! I haven't been to a hotel this bad...

Stayed here on a business trip, Kirsty and Jill on reception superb really friendly, I had a refurbished room which was bright and fresh and spotless white bathroom, bed was sprung mattress type and very firm although I prefer memory foam nowadays , breakfast was ok slightly better than I anticipated after reading reviews on here, there are migrants staying...

The beds are comfy but they are very hot rooms, I was given a Wi-Fi code to use in my room but the Wi-Fi wasn't working, don't use the shower because after you set the temperature it keeps adjusting itself so you get scalded but don't worry as 5 seconds later you will get hypothermia and the person who was...

I really cannot stress how hideous the experience of staying at this establishment was. We paid over £100 for the night for a family room (picture on the website was a four-poster bed-ha!) that was nothing more than a double room with a flimsy bed crammed in. Dark, dismal and disgustingly filthy rooms with stains up the wall and questionable...

Stayed here as part of a coach trip party to Manchester and Liverpool. Okay for a one night stay, reception staff were lovely, bar prices very reasonable and the breakfast was okay. Cheap and cheerful.

Stayed here during tough times for the family and found the majority of the staff friendly and helpful. This includes reception, the cleaning team and the bar staff. The price of the hotel was very attractive, however rooms were dated and not that comfy with beds that were quite hard and would leave guests sore in the morning. The fire...

At only £2 entrance fee per adult and kids got in for free, we didn't expect much but we were very pleasantly surprised. We arrived at 19:15 and the huge bonfire was roaring beyond the safety barrier. We bought some drinks and the fireworks got off to a bang at 19:30. It was a short but high quality display with...
