Hotel is located just inside a gated community. The provides a sense of security. The room was excellent, included tea making and two hair driers. Meals were good and reasonably priced. Very good value all round. We would recommend it and will be back.

Needed somewhere to stay last minute and found this hidden gem. It was late at night but that didn't seem to bother the reception staff, they made me very welcome and helped me to my room. I must say I wasn't sure what to expect but in all the times I have stayed away on business, this has to be...

Just stayed the weekend at The Avenue with 23 cycling friends. What a great little hotel ideally situated for some great cycling. There's a route to suit anyone wether it be climbing or a flat ride to the coast. I had a double room to myself that was clean and well furnished. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. I...

Perfectly lovely little hotel our in the country. The rooms are a fantastic size and come with all mod-cons and comforts. The staff are extremely kind and address guests by name, an added touch that makes you feel that little bit more welcome. The restaurant serves a great selection of traditional dishes and is very reasonable.

This smaller hotel is located just inside the entrance to a gated housing estate ( with a security guard)built in the Lancashire countryside around 25 years ago. On the approach to the estate is also Blackburn Rovers training grounds and academy. Quite a few of the hotel guests seemed to be foreign aspiring football players, sitting in the bar in...

Breakfast was good, yes plates were small but as it was self serve you could return again if needed. The bar was not over priced and the restaurant food was good. We would return again and...

We stayed here for two nights in one of the suites. Definately worth the extra £10 per night for the suite. Extra full living room and loads of space. Service was great, food was great, breakfast was great. What a great hotel at budget prices in a great location.
