My husband treated me again to a night away here for a special occassion. It was just as good as the first visit which was around 8 years earlier. The food (tasting menu) was amazing, staff friendly & informed - every dish was beautifully refined. The room was beautiful with lovely facilities. I'd love to bring my family here, but...

Lovely hotel in tranquil settings. Well organised event by Mercedes Benz with a great turn out. Afternoon tea was good and the waiter who served us was very attentive and interesting. Will certainly return in the future. The surrounding countryside is really picturesque and the links to the motorways are very close.

My mum, sister and I had afternoon tea on Tuesday, we were all looking forward to this , I must say for the reputation northcote has, I was very disappointed. It was 21' outside and there was a log fire burning so very hot and uncomfortable, the room where we Sat was not very pleasant, the service was appalling, there...

We stayed in this hotel for our wedding night on May 8th. The hotel is beautiful and the room was exceptional. However we found the service, whilst efficient, was impersonal and off hand. We arrived in our wedding clothes complete with bouquet all of which went unnoticed, or simply ignored, by the reception staff. They provided a vase for the...

My wife and I visited this hotel to celebrate her birthday and stayed overnight. The hotel itself can only be described as luxurious with the bedrooms being extremely well fitted out, comfortable and spacious. However, the reason we came was to enjoy fine dining. We both have allergies, and mine are serious as being potentially life threatening. The attention given...

Not been for a little while but took the opportunity of an overnight break. Fantastic! Had room in new Garden Block, exceptional. As for the food (evening meal and breakfast) simply superb. Staff too are excellent, attentive yet keep "at just the right distance"

We were bought a voucher for Sunday lunch as a Christmas present and so decided to stay the night also. We had canapés and a half bottle of champagne before lunch, which was very nice, the four course Sunday was excellent we both choose the beef which just melted in your mouth. The deserts - raspberry bomb and mango cheese...

This was my second visit with colleagues, again fantastic. From Amuse Bouche to coffees, enjoyable throughout. Sommeliers very knowledgable, all staff take care in what they do and ensure the whole experience is enjoyed. Fairly pricey, but a prime example of 'you get what you pay for'.

We stopped here for two nights and drove to the Lake District ( one hour drive one way). It has been selected as the best hotel in the U.K. And I can see why. Nearby, the BAE has major facilities, so the area is prosperous, so the dining room is split between locals and guests. The dining room dazzles. You...

We were given a Seasonal Lunch voucher for our wedding anniversary. The service and quality of the food was excellent and we had a lovely relaxing time. Pre meal drinks and after lunch coffee in the lounge were very relaxing.
