My partner and I had a wonderful overnight break at Mitton Hall, the customer service was excellent from the moment we walked into the hotel. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace in the lovely hotel surroundings. We stayed in a suite room which was well decorated and clean with a nice comfy bed. We've stayed in quite a few 4*...

Superb venue for any occasion, we visited several times previous while planning the wedding with our respective families, finding everyone most attentive. We enjoyed a wonderful day with beautiful food and service that matched. Set in stunning countryside Mitton Hall will not disappoint. Great rooms if your staying overnight with a loverly breakfast menu on offer. Go and ENJOY..........

A venue which promised much. Very imposing on the outside with terraced gardens and ample parking space, arranged in separate/discreet areas. Inside a touch of old England with open fireplaces, neat stonework, and unique design features. Very special! Unfortunately, on entering the lounge area it was reminiscent of passing through Euston Station concourse on a busy day. There was a...

We stayed here for two nights (three adults) in the Princess Suite. There was a problem on our arrival - sewage smell in the main bedroom and bathroom. Staff were very quick to resolve this and we had no further problems. Mitton Hall is the most beautiful place to stay. We had a bar meal on our first evening which...

Following an email with a tempting B and B offer we spent a night here. Pleasant welcome and a nice surprise to find we had been upgraded - on booking, I'd been advised the standard rooms were small but felt it would be ok for only one night. As it was, we were given the Princess Suite - a small...

We don't tend to leave too negative a feedback for establishments we visit, as normally, we find constructive criticism at the time is far more helpful. However, we will make an exception in this case. On the positive side, the food was really good and had the service lived up to the standard of the food, then our review would...

To my pleasure I wish deeply surprised to find such an elegant place on the high life card... Set in the heart of the Ribble Valley surrounded in fantastic views. The restaurant was tastefully decorated with a relaxed ambience which was nice as many up market restaurants can be a little formal for a relaxing meal. I had steak &...

Our first visit to Mitton Hall was the result of discovering their great pre-Christmas offer: B and B and a two course dinner for £99 - for two people! My jaw dropped as we parked outside this gorgeous historic building, and hit the floor as we entered the vast hall, home to a magnificent fireplace, roaring log fire and a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A four star country house hotel providing luxury accommodation at the heart of the fabulous Ribble Valley. Our big idea for bringing this magnificent 15th Century manor house back to life was to take it back to its roots and make it feel like a home again. Somewhere that looks and feels like it belongs to somebody. Stunning interior design and decoration perfectly complement the ancient architectural features to create a contemporary country house hotel. Both effortlessly beautiful and unashamedly romantic. The ambience is quite unique. It is certainly luxurious and feels exclusive but the luxury and exclusivity are open to all. From a relaxing morning coffee or afternoon tea, to lunch or dinner and for everything in between. ... more   less
