Good overall but more of a wedding venue than a place to make each traveller/family feel special. It's pretty much as you'd expect but no wow factor. Our family room was ok...but out of the four of us who would get the two packs of biscuits? Why do that? Four people should have four packs of biscuits...small point but that's...

Greeted at the entrance by the doorman who announced " Ugh a Hen Party". In fact we were a group of ladies ages ranging from 25 to 50 celebrating my nieces 30th birthday with a surprise Spa Weekend and Champagne Afternoon Tea. We approached the reception desk which was manned by two receptionists, one younger and one more experienced. My...

The hotel has very well maintained grounds and despite it's location close to the motorway it is quiet and restful. I made use to the spa facilities, the pool was a pleassant temperature and the facilities well maintained. I ate in the bar in the evening the food was good quality and the service prompt and effficient, new bar man...

Had a terrible stay in August and was promised a free upgrade on my next visit. My upgrade was to an Executive room - which had a broken sofa bed, a filthy room heater, a massive stain under the heater, and black mould under the carpet. I was so tired that I would have ignored all of this if it...

Dear Midath, My sincerest apologies your second nights stay was far from acceptable and I shall ensure the refund transaction takes place as soon as possible. There had been an issue with a leak and we have ordered a new carpet for the room, the mattress was missing from the sofa-bed hence the problem with the couch, all in all...

Overnight stop after an afternoon playing golf locally, nice quiet venue with good room, welcome excellent from reception staff and all staff friendly, spacious room plenty of storage space for 1 person. Shower / Bath combination adequate. Breakfast was nice caught them a little off guard as was first down, but plenty of choice and cooked meal was nice. Certainly...

We booked a classic room for one nights b&b, we were given a room on the courtyard opposite the fountain feature, so lovely view from the front window. On entering the room the roller blinds to the back view were closed - the view being flat roofs and general workings of a hotel. The blind let light in, inclusive of...

Just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel. We had a lovely stay. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some TLC but was comfortable. We had a courtyard room which was a lovely setting and away from the main hotel where there were 2 weddings going on. We ate both in the bar and in the...

This hotel was not worth the money that we paid for it. The stairs leading to our room smelled strongly of damp and mould to the point where it was quite overpowering.
