Booked a double room and was told only a disabled available. Room had a shower that was designed for small people being over 6 foot wasn't a good thing.Shower in morning wouldn't run hot. Was a experience to say the least. Very dated and no air con. Stains on carpet and room needed updating. Staff really unhelpful. In summary won't...

I took my girlfriend to this establishment over the festive period for a night in order to get away from normal daily life and have a bit of alone time. Upon entering the front of house staff member was very polite and welcoming. From there the whole experience went downhill, I ordered room service which was delivered cold and certainly...

Another lovely stay at the Dunkenhalgh hotel and Spa. A large group of ladies booked for a birthday celebration. We each had a treatment and used the spa facilities before spending the evening in the function room where we enjoyed a 3 course meal and disco. Facilities lovely, staff were great, friendly and keen to assist you, spa ladies wonderful...

Disappointing. The New Years Eve Gala evening was a poor show. The entertainment is reeled out year on year with the same act Paul Guard. Although he is a good singer his set has not changed over the last 6 years that I know of (apart from one year when there was a really good band on). His set starts...

Dear Gwyneth33, It is great to see you keep returning to the Hotel and I shall share your feedback with the Team. New Years entertainment is quite a tricky one and I understand where you are coming from, the year we had the change with the band the feedback was generally that our regular guests would prefer Paul, so we...

I have previously stayed in this hotel several times and again on this longer stay of 9 nights I was made most welcome by friendly staff . Breakfasts have an excellent selection of cereals , fruit , cheese , and of course cooked breakfasts plus other tempting treats . Staying in an executive room was very comfortable though light saving...

We were given room 18, which was a nice looking room. At night, however because it was above the main wedding venue, and the associated booming disco until midnight!!. That was not the end though, as for the next hour or so the clearing of empty bottles and glasses in large trolleys with solid wheels over concrete floors ( very loud...

Dear sir as a frequent guest of ribbyhall my friend booked me this as a surprise birthday present. I walked into the spa and was appalled to see little midjets crawling on the shower. We were also told the showers in changing rooms do not work and one of the steam rooms doesn't work. The changing room floor and the...

We went for a weekend away just before Christmas to "get away" from all the hustle and bustle. The hotel was in full swing for Christmas Party season, but that had been clearly communicated with us before arrival - so all was as expected on arrival. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was very large with a separate...
