We stayed for one night in Room 18 and were very impressed with the comfort and space. The room was huge and had a very comfortable bed, little seating area with flat screen TV and a lovely modern bathroom with White Company toiletries. We were also lucky enough to have a hilltop view of Whitstable and the sea. Free wifi...

Cannot fault this hotel for its style and rooms as well as the lovely staff in reception. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Not much choice at the buffet and we were clearly not specific enough when ordering hot food. Poached eggs on toast ended up with one small egg with one piece of toast.

Dear Guest, Firstly I would like to thank you for you review and the praise of our hotel and the staff. I am extremely disappointed that you did not get to enjoy your breakfast as you should have done. It really is no trouble at all for us to change your breakfast or provide you with a bigger portion, all...

This hotel has it all. Lovely location (with spacious parking area) 5 minutes from town (by car), clean and attractive decor, reception and rooms, friendly and efficient staff AND a very good restaurant. We ate there twice and were not disappointed. True the portions are small but they offer an amuse bouche and homemade bread with delicious olive oil beforehand....

My fiance and I (recently engaged) stayed for a short weekend break in Whitstable. Whilst we knew the town well and at first were disappointed not to find room at any of the beach front hotels we came across the Crescent Turner as an alternative. Following our stay it will no longer be an 'alternative' but our first choice in...

Delighted with our large room, even larger and extremely comfortable bed and pleasant seating area with views out to sea. Breakfast was fine and dinner was always tasty and well cooked. Maybe limited menu could be changed more frequently -you run out of options after 4 evenings. However, a big plus was the friendliness and helpful attitude of the young...

We stayed here in September and were really impressed with every aspect especially the comfortable bed in a tastefully decorated bedroom looking out to sea. An attractive terrace would have been great to relax on if it hadn't been raining cats and dogs! Thank goodness the lounge was cosy and attractive to sit in instead.

Dear Ann, I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay enough to recommend us to other people. Sadly we are unable to control the weather but what better excuse than the cold and the rain to take full advantage of relaxing in the lounge. Please come back and visit us again.

The hotel is in an exceptional position overlooking Whitstable with great views over the estuary. Our room was great with a large comfortable bed, beautifully finished and fitted out. The restaurant was good serving an excellent breakfast. However, the dinner menu was very limited and whilst the food was good, although portions were small, eating there more than once during...

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at the Crescent Turner. We were greeted on the Friday evening by a very friendly reception team and we then had a delicious meal in the restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was lovely (if a little pricey). Our room was beautiful and very large and everything was really clean. Breakfast was...

We received a very warm welcome and went through an easy check in process. We're shown to our room and by gosh it was beautiful! We opted for a junior suite, it had a little seating area with the tv, views across the fields and out to the sea, a massive, very comfortable bed placed (slightly randomly) in the centre...

We stayed at the Crescent Turner a few years ago, before its lavish refurbishment, when it was an OK hotel. Now it's far more than that. Its excellent location, on a hill just outside Whitstable with great views down to the coast, is complemented by spacious and well-furnished bedrooms, a nice terrace and dining area, high housekeeping standards and friendly,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Crescent Turner, Whitstable, is a stylish, 18-bedroom boutique hotel, set high up on Wraik Hill, overlooking the Kent coast. It has panoramic views of the sea and gorgeous surrounding countryside. Whitstable is a family-orientated but fashionable seaside town - famous for its beach huts, Oyster Festival and quaint harbour. There are quirky, independent shops and galleries, Whitstable Castle and an increasingly popular arts festival - the Whitstable Biennale. The Crescent Turner has individually designed bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, terrace area, gardens and - very importantly - its own Beach Hut on Whitstable beach, which guests may reserve. Bedrooms are spacious and light, many with sea views. Head down to Whitstable for a family break or a romantic getaway. You'll love the subtle decor of this newly remodelled boutique hotel - less than two hours from central London. Of course, the beach is a major feature in summer, but Whitstable is busy and interesting all-year round, and there are wonderful walks in the Kent countryside and other pretty towns and villages to visit while you are here. The Crescent Turner Hotel ... more   less
