We had a wonderfully relaxing stay made possible by the excellent hosts David and Sue. Tea and homemade scones with jam on arrival. This is a great base to explore Kent. So good we didn't travel very far each day. Bedgebury Pinetareum, Rare breed centre, Tenterden, Sissinghurst all close. The adjoining rooms was perfect for us, giving the kids the...

We stayed overnight in the blue room on Saturday 8th April. The bed was really comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. Nothing was too much trouble for Sue and David. Breakfast was fabulous. I especially enjoyed the wonderful fruit salad. David looked magnificent in his waistcoat as breakfast was served! I would thoroughly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We stayed in the Blue Room at Hookstead House for 3 nights. Right from the moment you are greeted at the door you are made to feel very welcome. We stayed in the four post bed room and found it incredibly comfortable and absolutely spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good with excellent local produce and homemade bread and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. There is a very good pub...

This is a great place - authentic English farmhouse with everything you could possibly want - excellent hosts who cook a brilliant breakfast, beautiful bedrooms and a living room with a fire for the cold winter nights or a garden for the summer! Highly recommend and we would certainly go back. Thanks David and Sue.

A lovely old characterful house with the added benefit of a living room (open fire place) and garden for guests to relax in. We stayed in the four poster room which was a very good size with en suite (bath creme, shower gel, moisturizer provided). Totally relaxing and so nice to have a comfy bed plus sofa in the bedroom....
