This place was just so full of contrasts. Lovely location, quirky accommodation, solid bed and mattress friendly staff but dirty, dusty, a broken kitchen draw, a microwave whose timer did not time or turntable turn.... Hot breakfast on the first day we were given no choice and it was cold sausages obviously microwaved, On the second day, much bettter, when...

Stayed at Tonge Barn on nye for a break away, found the hotel by chance and it was really good value. There were some mixed reviews but I found the room really comfortable and pleasant. Would definitely return.

We rented the whole of Tonge Barn for the weekend of the 6th of December. It was a large, complicated group with a lot of different diets, arrival times and needs. The service was awesome. We will be running a lot of events locally and will always be able to rely on Tonge Barn.

The check in was great, our room (barn conversion) was beautiful to look at and the service was impeccable. Breakfast was also lovely and served at a traditional farm house table with...
