Just back from a lovely weekend in Sandwich, for my Wife's birthday, where we stayed at The Bell Hotel. We were joined by our Daughter and her boyfriend. Apparently the Hotel is being re-decorated but there was absolutely no disruption to our stay. The reception staff put us in a room away from the Christmas party's that were taking place...

The hotel is located in a good position near the estuary. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good view of the river. We had dinner in the dining area on two nights and the quality was very good as were the breakfasts.

Booked lunch here again after having a lovely meal a previous time, I wasn't disappointed a second time. A warm welcome from all the staff on arrival, shown to a lovely table set in the window overlooking Sandwich streets. Food was delicious, well presented and very hot. A very good choice, hardest part was choosing what to eat. Will definitely...

Quirky, old fashioned hotel in a quirky old fashioned town. Nice hotel and a pleasant room. Lovely shortbread biscuits. The room was not large but perfectly adequate and it was nice to have a bath and not just a shower. We ate in the hotel as it was a cold November evening and thought the food and selection was very...

We had a small works party in the restaurant and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. From arrival in the bar for pre dinner drinks to the excellent food and service provided by the staff. There wasn't a single concern raised and every course was efficiently served and well presented.
