Best b and b in Margate never to much to ask for anything also very cheap Any time of the year Its family run also 1 minute from train station has free sat in every room also DVD players and most rooms r on suite also seaview with the harbour and new art center. bus stop is approximately 500feet into...

Stayed for the weekend on a last minute reservation, and the room was lovely and homely. The decor is fab, I was updated before and after my stay. The owners are lovely, warm and welcoming. I will definitely recommend and will stay again in the future.

Rang on Saturday 28th August, having been let down on a pre booked hotel. Gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful and offered my husband and I a two night stay in a family room. Room was a family one with double and single bed, clean and comfortable. Good shower, tea, coffee etc. Only let down was no breakfast...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here just Saturday to Sunday. We went to Margate in the hope to find somewhere for the night and this little place caught our eye first with the Pink outside and of course it sounded girly! We booked an impromptu stay at the Bear Guest House last night, it was extremely convenient for everything Margate has to offer! Lovely friendly staff, beautifully appointed room, really clean and fresh. Beautiful sea view! Guest house really quiet! Perfect place to stay to explore Margate! Would recommend! Thanks very much!

Booked a single night over Bank Holiday Weekend to see friends, Regan & Greg were excellent and welcoming hosts making the stay feel very home from home. What can I say about the Bear, Regan and family are the nicest people you could want to meet. I stayed there whilst I was working in Broadstairs for 10 weeks. came for a weekend ended up staying 6 weeks, comfortable room with shower, coffee making facilities, sea view, owners treated me like family from the start. Will be returning, great value. really nice place to stay

Friendly, well established, small family run guest house with affordable rates. Grade 2 listed Georgian building, located very near to Margate train station and opposite Margate main sands. There is some free unlimited parking outside of our property and parking is easily available in nearby streets. We have 5 comfortable, well appointed rooms in total which include: Room 1 (a family room sleeping 4), Room 2 (a double room), Room 3 (a single room), Room 4 (a single room) and Room 5 (a triple room). Three of our rooms have stunning sea views and one other has a partial sea view. All rooms have complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, mineral water, fridge, TV including many free sat channels, and complimentary toiletries. DVD players are also available upon request. Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available throughout most of our property. Please note that rooms are let on a room only basis i.e. we do not offer breakfast. However there are plenty of nice places to eat nearby. As we are a listed building, our rooms do not offer full ensuite, however each room has its own private shower and hand basin. Toilets are located nearby on each landing. Discounts for long-term stays are available and we offer 10% discount on stays of 4 nights or more. Contractors welcome. Children and small infants' warmly welcome We have travel cots available at no extra charge. Cyclists also welcome. Check-in is anytime from 1pm and check-out is 11am on the day of departure. The property is non-smoking throughout. We can offer guests a (chargeable) babysitting service (we are DBS checked). ... more   less
