Recently stayed in a double room for £50 B&B - excellent room (not yet refurbished), very clean and comfortable, with large en-suite, lovely bed, tea & coffee and toiletries. We really enjoyed our first visit to the champagne bar - serving champagne, cocktails, wine and tapas. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, lovely decoration and a relaxed atmosphere - we will... The Hotel is very nice generally but we found our double room a little cramped. Fine for a weekend but not so good for a longer period of time. The room was nicely furnished and very clean. A small bathroom without bath but with a shower which wasn't a power shower. We stayed on the second floor to the right... More

I haven't been to this hotel for years, but was so impressed with the smartly turned out staff who had impeccable manners. The hotel looks so smart and is in a good location. I love the champagne bar!

Really first class hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The decor of rooms and common can only be described as first class. Do try the champagne bar. Our only criticism was that we had too long a wait to get our food in the restaurant . One hour to receive your main course was far too long.

The Indian restaurant and its staff were great. The room we stayed in was lovely but these are the only good points. The main restaurant was fully booked for dinner our entire stay and due to staff sickness there were no spa treatments available to book. The spa was pretty crowded and the steam room was out of order all... More

We booked a stay here, rather than at one of the chain hotels, ahead of a channel tunnel crushing. Great room, one of they newly refurbished, which was excellent and well thought out with good amenities and, most importantly, a fantastical comfortable bed. Parking was easy right in front of the property, and staff smart & professional. Breakfast was excellent... More

We had 3 nights Dinner, Bed and breakfast, in a refurbished sea view room. The spacious room was very smart indeed, with a huge comfortable bed, and 2 chairs for us to admire the coastline. It is very obvious this hotel has had huge investment very recently, and it shows even before you step inside. It sparkles - and it... More

We have had another good deal weekend at the Hythe Imperial. At only £50 a night it's hard to beat. Rooms are warm and comfortable, although the third floor rooms are still on the renovation list. The breakfast, included in the room deal, was absolutely fantastic. However, the men of the party mourned the fact that the snooker room they'd... More

Great day, which was made excellent by steph who served us our afternoon tea. After a slight glitch with our gluten free request, steph more than compensated with fantastic customer service. Staff like this should be recognised. Thank you, would definitely come again.
