Well worth the cost. Expensive for a bed and breakfast, but truly 5 star. Great breakfast! Really friendly and efficient reception.
We stayed one night when visiting the castle with friends from USA who enjoyed the atmosphere and history.
Visited as a group of friends (2 singles and 2 couples) to celebrate a birthday. We were all delighted with our rooms, very luxurious with Molton Brown toiletries in the state-of-the-art bathrooms. The ‘rooms’ are more like mini-suites and all very spacious.
