We had 2 rooms here for a Saturday night stay. Both rooms in the Bolyen wing (superior doubles) were beautiful - very good quality furnishings, lovely decor, great views, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Check-in was efficient and very friendly and breakfast was very good quality. My only (tiny) gripe is that breakfast is 8.30 to 9.30 which is a...

We booked a one night bed and breakfast stay at Hever Castle - it was even more fabulous than we expected. The lady at reception was friendly and full of helpful advice. Our suite was amazing and it was so quiet at night. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. During the day on the Sunday we got to...

Great accomodation, service and breakfast and a free ticket to enter the castle too. The rooms are all tastefully decorated. The beds were out of this world and the bathrooms just the job. The loung and Billiard rooms were very comfortable too and breakfast is served in a mock baronial hall.

Dear Eamonn, Thank you for such a lovely review. The beds are so comfy aren't they, we get lots of guests asking us where we get our mattresses from! I think a good nights sleep at Hever Castle is often a combination of the great mattresses, lots of fresh country air and perhaps a drink or two from the residents...

The place is beyond expectation. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful. There is access to the castle gardens which are great for a peaceful early morning stroll in fabulous surroundings.

We stayed overnight to celebrate my wife's birthday and it is a wonderful place. No problems in our bringing our own fizz to celebrate, they happily supplied an ice bucket and glasses . It was all very relaxing and comfortable. A good breakfast and then a good walk around the grounds and castle. Better start saving up for next year...

My wife, daughter and in laws have just got back from a magical weekend at Hever Castle bed & breakfast, and I literally can't find any fault. Bed & Breakfast does not do it justice. This is a five star hotel set in the grounds of a beautiful castle. The room we stayed in (Egremont) was superb, and the provision...

Thanks Rob, I love the word 'spellbinding' to describe what is on offer at Hever Castle Luxury Bed and Breakfast, a lovely review and is is very kind of you to take the time to feedback so positively on your stay with us. We refer to a 'Bed and Breakfast' rather than a 'hotel' because we do not have a...

We celebrated a special birthday with family and it was truly special. From the warm welcome, beautiful bedrooms, delicious cooked breakfast and the stroll around the gardens and castle, made it perfect for all ages. the archery, even in the snow, was great fun too. The kids loved the maze! Don't forget to have a hot chocolate in the café,...

Dear PJ, Thank you for your review. There is indeed something for everyone to enjoy at Hever Castle. Did you indulge in the Castle baked cakes with your hot chocolates? The two complement each other perfectly after a stroll in the gardens! The summer brings the delight of picnics in the grounds, so you shall have to return in the...

Firstly, you don't stay in the castle. You stay in a manorial home built in the early twentieth century by the Astor family and designed to replicate the Tudor interiors they expected the Boleyns to have lived in. It is not gauche. The rooms are large, the bathroom quirkily propped up on a small flight of stairs, and the bath...

Kate R, Manager at Hever Castle Bed and Breakfast, responded to this review

Dear David, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. In 1903, Hever Castle was purchased by William Waldorf Astor who invested vast amounts of time, money and imagination into restoring the Castle and building an extension in the style of a Tudor village, now referred to as the Astor Wing. Today, when we refer to Astor’s...
