My husband and I stayed in the Hopper's Room for several days in September while visiting castles and gardens in the area. The room had a super king-sized bed,en-suite bathroom, electric water pot with tea service and freshly baked treats daily. There was also a TV, but as we were out and about every day we never turned it on.... More

Our second stay at what is now an annual favourite for us. We attend the Southern Modelshow at Headcorn Aerodrome and we have fallen in love with this B&B. We have slept in both the Orchard and Hopper and both are lovely and highly recommended, unique and full of charm! Its lovely opening the curtains in the morning looking out... More

We have just stayed for three nights at Wilderness in the shepherd's hut positioned discreetly at the end of the orchard. Privacy is assured as the main doors open on to a private patch of grass with chairs. Views out of the back window are screened by fruit trees. The hut is extremely well equipped, with very comfortable 5 foot... More

We were very lucky to find the Wilderness having searched extensively for somewhere available to stay in the area, as we were attending a friend's birthday celebration nearby. This would be the perfect place to base yourself if you were exploring the S.Kent/E.Sussex countryside and coast, with very comfortable rooms in peaceful surroundings; we stayed in both the Shepherd's Hut... Just to prove that my earlier review "Winter Wonder" wasn't a one hit wonder (apologies for pun), have just spent an extremely relaxing few days thanks to Victoria. Nothing too much trouble including an extra bed for my son who decided to join us at the last minute. Great stay, great value. You will not be disappointed, thanks again Victoria,... More

We had a truly enjoyable stay in the Shepherd's Hut at Wilderness B&B. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like a log. The shower room is surprisingly spacious with good water pressure and hot water. There is a small kitchen area complete with small fridge, kettle and sink, perfectly formed for a short stay. If you are well... More

Just completed a four night stay at the Wilderness. An excellent experience, superb accommodation (Orchard), warm welcome and filling breakfast supplied by Victoria. Great location, central for Headcorn, Tenterden and Ashford. Will return as soon as physically able. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a lovely peaceful weekend break spent here. Victoria does a great job making you feel welcome but doesn't intrude. We arrived Friday afternoon, whilst the family were out, but this was not a problem as a note had been left on the door of the gorgeous Orchard Room, and keys in the lock and we were invited...
