Very noisy bar downstairs which can go on until the early hours! Toilet seat in en-suite broken, mould growing inside shower cubicle and shelves hanging off the wall in bedroom. TV didn't work and unfortunately I'd booked in for a week! Went to the King's arm's on Deal seafront the following week which was 100% better!

What a well kept secret this place is! The room was small but very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable (great pillows). We stayed on Saturday night so of course we were prepared for the noise from the club downstairs, however we were in the bar that evening and the place was lively and fun. The...

Do not accept room 8 (single room)! You will be plagued by the drone of the air extractor unit, on the wall below, for the beer cellar - It switches on and off every 2-3 minutes. It also vibrates up through the walls! I was told that it cannot be switched off. Once all is quiet, outside, it's the only...

We were on a family history trip and found the compact room warm and comfortable and the bathroom light and airy. The young staff were pleasant and friendly and the nearby Sir Norman Wisdom restaurant was a great place to eat and mingle with the locals. Its handy to the train station and walking distance to the waterfront.

Place was dirty, smelt and nothing like it advertised. The so called restaurant - was nowhere to be found- closed down. To be fair the room was clean even if the toilet seat was broken and the TV didn't work. Certain hotel booking websites need to update their info on some places

I booked online in advance for a one night stay for the Sunday night before the May bank holiday Monday as I had a race in Kent the next day. When I arrived and picked up the key from the man behind the bar and paid I was informed that it might be "a little loud" this evening. My friend,...

For Queen Street Hotel read Hole in the Roof pub! The hotel part is the first floor of the pub. The pub is a modern lively pub with a lively crowd, a dance area and loud music late into the night. Above the dance floor a large hole has been cut into the ceiling creating a wall of sound into...

This is a pub with a hotel on top but don't let that put you off. Excellent, well appointed and well maintained rooms. Great value and Deal is a lovely resort with plenty to do and see. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Good breakfast and this hotel offers excellent value. Overnight parking is in a local car park but no...
