Room in a traditional pub overlooking Deal beach, which was welcoming and clean with comfortable beds and areally impressive newly refurbished bathroom which had a powerful shower. All staff were helpful and friendly. Pub had a live blues band. Good beer and wine.

Just ate a family meal where I ordered a lamb rump. Very expensive (£14) for a very small plate,in fact the kids ham and egg and chips would have been a better choice. Have eaten there many times before but can't help feeling it's getting ideas above it's station

The King's Head & Channel View Guest House are, in fact, two separate buildings in the same road which is adorned with the most amazing display of hanging baskets I've ever seen. I stayed in room 10 which is at the back of the Channel View Guest House. There was no view as such apart from a painting on a...

Great pub - busy outside but cool indoors on a hot day. Shephard Neame on tap. Really friendly service, and clientele. Excellent food - the fish and chips was good and the Lamb Shoulder was lovely - very generous portions, in fact my wife couldn't finish the lamb. Definitely recommended.

The rooms are located a couple of doors away from the pub so you are not disturbed by the late evening noise. The sea view is uninterrupted and the bedrooms are spacious. However, the shower is to die for. Plenty of warm water at a good pressure and lots of "arm" room. It was hard to get out as it...

Quaint, traditional and a lovely example of a Kent seaside BB and pub. Lovely clean room with everything we needed - Great beach/sea views, Excellent English breakfast. Most of all staff very helpful and keen to make sure your stay was first class. Could have stayed longer - which is always a testament to a good place.

I stayed for 3 nights recently on a B&B basis. I stayed in an ensuite with a double and a single bed. The room was clean, well appointed and the pub is located on the front with views out into the English Channel. My room was at the rear of the pub but I did not specify a sea view....

We had a top floor, sea view, room in the building 2 doors down paying £95 a night at the weekend. The pub itself looks quite quaint inside although the Shephard Neame beers are not to my taste. There are other, better free houses around and we spent a lot of time in The Berry at Walmer, which had a...

A group of around 7 of us arranged to stay in the pub, I stayed with my partner in the room on the top floor, and it was amazing, a very large, comfortable bed, with an en suite with a very nice, new shower. The room was very clean and tidy, and had an absolutely amazing view. We spent the...
