Booked an overnight stay for my husbands birthday. Greeted by Fraser the Manager who checked us in and showed us to our amazing room with a four poster bed in the Crimson Room. Staff very friendly and attentive to our every need, no complaints at all. Great evening meal in the dining room. When we had finished our meal, the...

The only negative is that the standard rooms are tiny and so are the beds, however they were spotlessly clean and very peaceful. The hot breakfast is menu based, so fresh and as you like, with cereals, juices, fruit and pastries laid out daily. You don't have to go far for a meal or a drink, as the bar and...

We stayed here in this hotel for three nights. The staff were very welcoming and the building having historic links too! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The food was of a good quality on the menu for evening meal and breakfast was cooked to order. Can't really fault the food or the room we stayed in, all were lovely....

Booked The George on the strength of previous Trip Advisor reviews and it did not disappoint. Our room was comfortable, clean and very pleasant. My wife is gluten and dairy free and she had plenty of varied choice in both the breakfast and al la carte menus. Staff are excellent, very warm and welcoming to the extent of going out...

We arrived at the hotel at about 3pm. Check-in is from 3pm. We were met by the receptionist Sasha who told us she had just returned to work following a period of Maternity leave. She was a delight to meet. Bright bubbly and had a good knowledge of Cranbrook. She took us to our room which had apparently been upgraded...

We stayed in the gorgeous Crimson room which has a beautiful carved four poster bed, free standing bath and views onto Cranbrook High Street and the church. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. It's a great place for a weekend couples getaway where you can relax and escape the madness of everyday life. Cranbrook is a lovely country town where...

We booked in here for a family do so we took up most of the hotel. The staff are very hard working and friendly. The food in the bar for our evening meal was very good. The breakfast which was included in the price was not so good the first day and very good the second day. The double room...

Booked direct of course, and the friendly manager Fraser gave a great rate in his favorite room which was very comfortable, quiet, with all the extras one would expect. Have eaten here before and the food remains very good quality and value, competitively priced wine list and great breakfasts. Only a small drawback was that I found the younger bar...

As a party of 14, we celebrated New Year's Eve in The George where we were so well looked after by the Manager on duty - Frankee - who's patience, sense of humour and competence was hugely admired. It was a FULL house and our large HUNGRY party were fed promptly by a very patient and kind team with a...
