We stayed in the Hop Bine studio, very comfortable ,ideal for the two of us. Peaceful setting in heart of countryside. Ideal for visiting local places eg Rye, Tunbridge Wells, South Downs, Hever Castle, Sissinghurst, Dixter Gardens. Good local pub, Woodcock, within walking distance serves great food. Very welcome arrival to Jill's homemade scones and strawberry cake, delicious! Bed is...

We stayed in Hop Pickers Cottage for 2 weeks and had an amazing holiday. The cottage was perfect - roomy, comfortable and well equipped to accommodate all our needs. The property is stunning; it's beautifully maintained in a most picturesque setting. It was lovely to wake each morning to the birds chirping and the sun shinning (on most days)! Jill,...

We (two couples) stayed in the Oak Barn at the farm, 43 acres of lush countryside- sheep, cattle, geese, ducks, ponds, lakes. A more perfect place to relax I can not imagine. Also a place for adventure if one is not used to driving on the left, as these are the smallest roads I've yet seen. Lots of villages in...

First of all, unless we were short changed, and I'm sure we weren't, the proprietors no longer provide your breakfast here, which is just fine because with the extremely spacious, comfortable and well appointed kitchen, there is no reason you can't make your own breakfasts. Shop at the Cooperative supermarket in Cranbrook. What Jill did leave for our arrival was...

I B&Bd here with my wife for her birthday. We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was in one of the newer buildings and was nice. The character in the older buildings looks better, so next time I'd try to get a room in the Oak Barn. I don't think rooms are available in the main house which is...

I booked the self-catering Hop Bine Studio site unseen and I am thrilled that it has turned out to be exactly what we wanted! The owner is on holiday but the caretakers- Chris and Peter have been grand! We wanted a quiet escape in a beautiful setting-that is what we got. The studio is good for a couple. It has...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the main house. The highlight of our stay, aside from the beautiful surroundings and fabulous breakfasts was the sighting of a kingfisher. Jill was a wonderful hostess. It was the perfect, restful place from which to explore Kent.

What a lovely place to stay. Jill was very welcoming indeed, and our room was very very comfortable. The setting is lovely, so quiet. And the breakfast - well, we can honestly say that it was the best B&B/Hotel breakfast we've ever had. Lovely ingredients so well cooked. We'll be back again!

Waters End Farm is secreted away in a lovely, peaceful location in the Kent countryside. On arrival, my very modern kitchen was stocked with eggs from the farm's chickens, milk, bread, and a very delicious cake, among other things. The self catering units are modern and well appointed. Jill, the owner, greets her guests upon arrival and makes sure that...

My two girlfriends and I were very much looking forward to our trip to Kent and had booked three rooms back in November 2014. Reviewing the website we certainly had high expectations for our visit however on arrival not only did we not receive the wonderful tea and cakes other guests have talked about we were also extremely disappointed to...
