Stayed for a long weekend with a group from the Crash Box and Classic Car Club of Devon. The restaurant was first class - lamb seems to be popular at the moment and the slow cooked rump on the first night was outstanding. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Many thanks to all the staff who made our stay so...

Set in what must be one of the best locations on the island, with a spectacular view over the lake and Wootton Marina to the left and parkland to the right. Soooo relaxing! The standard of everything was very high From reception (David was a star) to the spa and restaurant. Well worth the money for the view alone

Stayed for 4 nights on a Voyage Prive deal which included the ferry crossing, breakfast and one evening meal upto £25 pp. Our lake view room on the first floor was excellent. There was a good buffet beakfast with orders for other hot dishes. The spa facilities are good although the jacuzzi was not functioning for 2 or 3 days....

Nice hotel. Friendly helpful staff, clean room. Didn't try spa or pool. Dinner in brassiere disappointing as food maybe not to our taste, not hot enough and flavours didn't mix for us (lamb very fatty with mint, mash and very sweet caramelised burnt cabbage). But again attentive staff and good service.

We stayed for two nights at this lovely, peaceful hotel. Staff welcoming and friendly, room clean and good facilities with storage, bathroom etc. Lovely grounds and views. I'm gluten and dairy free and we ate in the restaurant both nights. I had a great 3 course meal both nights. They were more than happy to tweak the menu to suit...

We can't praise & thank the Lakeside & their amazing staff enough for everything they did to make our day perfect. The hotel & its facilities are excellent. It is modern, bright & classy. All of the rooms are lovely we were staying in the open plan Heron suite which had a comfy 4 poster bed sofa area and dining...

My wife and I went there for a significant birthday for one of us. It was so nice that we plan to return in 8 months time for the significant birthday of the other half of us. The hotel is beautifully sited overlooking a lake and nearby marina on the other side of a bridge over the water. Our lake...

A fairly modern Hotel in a very tranquil setting. We enjoyed a 2 night break, which included use of the very nice pool; a 20 minute massage in the Spa; full breakfast both days; and set evening menu on one night. To be fair, the set menu wasn't that exciting compared to the a la carte, but what we had...

We ate here for lunch recently on a beautiful spring day. It was a Monday & out of season, & the restaurant was incredibly quiet, which was a shame. The service was impeccable & the menu, although limited, was inventive & modern. As a strict vegetarian, I wasn't particularly captivated by the one main dish on offer & therefore requested...
