I'm afraid we were very disappointed in the accommodation at Gurnard Pines. The lodge was really in need of updating. The carpets were stained and old and the beds were frankly disgusting. There was no mattress cover and the mattresses were stained and the bottom sheet didn't fit properly, nor did the duvet fit the cover. We have recently stayed...

We have stayed here several times before. The location is lovely, leisure facilities clean, quiet and modern. The rustic lodge we stayed in however was really tired. The carpet stained, bathroom mouldy, really old broken furniture and general upkeep poor. This is a real shame because it has such potential. There is now an added bonus of an onsite shop....

Accommodation was basic but spacious, is in need of updating as seemed very old. More attention to cleaning inside is needed as under beds, sofas, behind cupboards which had not been moved for some time and windows were thick with cobwebs. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist. We ate in the bar most nights...

We stayed in a Villa 3 style bungalow for a long weekend. We arrived late (9.30pm) which wasn't a problem as they have a key box to collect your keys and paperwork. The bungalow was basic and a little tired, but overall clean and tidy. Some parts required attention, for example the bath panel was hanging off in the main...

Just got back from a 4 night break at Gurnard Pines, had a great holiday and loved the Isle of Wight, but the cabin....well. We stayed in one of the Rustic Lodges, I booked this because I like staying in log cabins and it has to be said, this one was in a very nice situation. The cabins, around 10...

The good: The facilities (pool, soft play area, restaurant, shop) were excellent and clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. The park as a whole was nice and quiet. The bad: the lodge had potential but was very tired looking both in and out. The carpet had had its day with being dirty and stained, the equipment (apart from the...

The place as a whole is very good but the bungalows need refurbishment like new paint work and beds/mattresses etc. The pools, bar and all other amenities are great as well as the new shop. Could just do with some work in the homes :) but we have been before and will most likely come again.

Spent 4 nights in a 3 bed Villa and was very happy with everything in the Villa. I had read a few reviews about this resort and was worried about the stay as I had booked it for me and family. There was no need to worry as the villa was very clean and spacious. The living area had plenty...

We spent a week at Gurnard Pines, staying in their 3 bedroom chalet with a hot tub. The chalet had obviously recently been refurbished and we found the accomodation to be clean and spacious. We had a few issues while we were there and when we reported them to reception, they were dealt with straight away. The swimming pool was...

We stayed here on a Sun break recently, which was very good value, as the chalet we had was about double the size of a caravan. It was well equipped, the beds were quite comfortable, the shower and heating system good and there was loads of room in the spacious lounge/dining area. We didn't use the restaurant, but it looked...
