70 people enjoyed Sunday lunch in delightful surroundings. The gardens are lovely and the service was reasonable. Ths hotel is used as a training ground for staff and they did well as some had ferries to catch. The food was good too.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel, although we have eaten as non-residents in the restaurant several times. Upon arrival, if was difficult to ascertain where the reception area was, as there were no obvious signs, but having wandered around searching for a while someone eventually appeared from a back office and checked us in. The...

Stayed for 2 nights and the service from start to finish was first class. Rooms tastefully decorated in keeping with the tradition of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and very enjoyable with great service. The grounds are stunning and well maintained. All in all a highly enjoyable visit. We will be returning.

Stayed here for 3 days in September whilst my partner was filming near by. The room was lovely if not a little dated, but clean and well equipped and quite. The food was really good both breakfast and dinner were fresh and plentiful and the services was truly wonderful. I wouldn't call this a Boutique hotel, but it was very...

We stayed here for one night and had dinner, bed & breakfast. It was a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful and the staff are amazing. The food was superb and I didn't want to go home!! The room was immaculately clean and the hospitality tray was very well stocked.

We stayed in room 5 which was rather twee but overall very comfortable bed and bed linen and good towels. The bathroom could have done with patching up in places but nice bath and plenty of hot water. The man who greeted us , Andy, was not particularly welcoming to be honest, but when we meet Richard, the manager, he...

This was my second dine and stay at Albert Cottage. I love the place so much, that I've bought gift packages for friends and family here. All the bedrooms are different, all spacious and comfortable. Yet again, a lovely meal and friendly staff. I'll be back again.

This hotel was once a very nice place indeed but is looking pretty tired now.We had a suite there for one night & the suite itself was fine. However, both the french door locks in each case were very iffy & did not fasten too well. The outside fabric of the needed painting and looked shabby. On the plus side ,the gardens were...

The Albert cottage is a truly charming place and being a former royal residence, full of history. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We were part of a corporate sailing group and had to be away by 7:30 am which is normally when breakfast starts but the hotel very kindly offered to serve us breakfast at 7am....

The room and bathroom were both spacious and the beds were comfortable. The old-fashioned furniture was a bit creaky and the drawers needed a good tug. Only one of the sash windows opened, and then it had to be propped up. The TV was poor - small, no sub-titles, dodgy remote and slow to respond. Breakfast was good, and the...
