We stayed here for one night and had dinner, bed & breakfast. It was a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful and the staff are amazing. The food was superb and I didn't want to go home!! The room was immaculately clean and the hospitality tray was very well stocked.

We stayed in room 5 which was rather twee but overall very comfortable bed and bed linen and good towels. The bathroom could have done with patching up in places but nice bath and plenty of hot water. The man who greeted us , Andy, was not particularly welcoming to be honest, but when we meet Richard, the manager, he... More

This was my second dine and stay at Albert Cottage. I love the place so much, that I've bought gift packages for friends and family here. All the bedrooms are different, all spacious and comfortable. Yet again, a lovely meal and friendly staff. I'll be back again.

This hotel was once a very nice place indeed but is looking pretty tired now.We had a suite there for one night & the suite itself was fine. However, both the french door locks in each case were very iffy & did not fasten too well. The outside fabric of the needed painting and looked shabby. On the plus side ,the gardens were... More

The Albert cottage is a truly charming place and being a former royal residence, full of history. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We were part of a corporate sailing group and had to be away by 7:30 am which is normally when breakfast starts but the hotel very kindly offered to serve us breakfast at 7am.... More

The room and bathroom were both spacious and the beds were comfortable. The old-fashioned furniture was a bit creaky and the drawers needed a good tug. Only one of the sash windows opened, and then it had to be propped up. The TV was poor - small, no sub-titles, dodgy remote and slow to respond. Breakfast was good, and the... More

Spent a couple of days there to celebrate my wife's birthday. Nice location, very comfortable, good food. Very quiet most of the time. Only down side was long wait for breakfast and the noise that came from room next door through the adjoining door which is not at all soundproof

Went here for an afternoon tea and found the selection of cakes and sandwiches delicious, nice outside seating are with good service. The waiter who brought our selection told us what each thing was which was a nice touch I thought. Would definitely come back here for another one.

Visited here for afternoon tea. Great value for money with a good selection of sandwiches, home made cakes and scones plus tea and prosecco. The staff are incredibly welcoming. Amazing gardens and stunning property. Can't wait to return again.
