We very much enjoyed our stay at the Union Inn. We found it quirky and interesting and full of 19th century atmosphere. Our room was small but very comfy. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially Charlotte, who made a big difference and went out of her way to make us welcome from the moment we arrived! Give that...

Good beer, good service in a genuine British pub. I've been before and I think it's a cracking place to have a beer. It's a bit tiny and cramped but that's part of the charm. You can't help feeling this hasn't changed in a 100 years

Wife and i popped in to see the menu for evening meal. Was surprised they did a deal for £25 which included 2 steaks, 2 side dishes, homemade chips with 2 large glasses of red wine. A bargain and not only that it was great food. Well worth the money. Atmosphere was also delightful buzzing with character. Thank you for...

An archetypal quaint English Pub in pretty Cowes. Full of character and colourful locals along with very welcoming and friendly staff, particularly Rachel. We were on the Island for a family party and wanted somewhere nice to spend the night. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed, each with a bath and/or/shower ensuite. The rooms were clean, warm and the beds amazingly...

Although there is an inn about the pub, we were only there to catch a bit of local flavor in terms of a pub. It's evident that this is a local hangout. There was a fireplace and comfy big chairs in case you didn't want a table. No rush, pet friendly, loud chatter, good service, decent food, good place to...

For the price we paid we got what we wanted; a close Inn to the red jet ferry, a nice friendly pub downstairs with well priced drinks and food (although we did not go here for food), a nicely cooked breakfast in the morning and a clean, hygienic and well sized room. However, our room was situated right by the...
