We opted to stay in the country close to Amersham, and selected Two Brewers Hotel. We were not disappointed, the staff are friendly, the rooms comfortable with all the amenities including a heated towel rail. The restaurant is obviously very popular and has a great fare. Beautiful view overlooking the Common, and an abundance of fire hearths.

I stayed here for one night prior to a business meeting the following day. All the staff I met were very helpful and friendly and were clearly working very hard; some successfully juggling multiple roles at once. My room (202) was large and looked very smart but suffered from a number of annoying shortcomings: It was quite chilly because the...

A nice stay all told, here to visit family. I would add two things. The toilet rolls in the rooms are the cheapest on the market and could be better. Also the wi-fi is awful really bad connection if you offered a paid wi fi service i and others I am sure would take it up. Ok

Customer service is non existent! Waiter and one waitress obviously don't enjoy their job! Booked for 3pm and didn't get drinks until 30 mins after! Total time of meal was 3 and a half hours! Quickest thing we got was the Bill!!! Food wasn't bad but there is clearly not enough staff! Won't be back for a long time! What...

My husband has been staying here for many months. Comfortable hotel, good location and good food. Unfortunately, we both experienced on separate occasions a rude lady on checking out. She should not be working with the Public. We've cancelled all bookings through to April 2017 and chose different hotel.

All in all a nice stay in a quaint little village, rooms decorated to a tasteful standard, only downsize was being given a glass at the bar stained full of lipstick, the lady trying to overcharge for breakfast in the morning as I only had a 'light bite' item and she tried to charge me for a full English, but...

We have eaten many times in this pub/hotel but hadn't been for about 2 years. I booked on line which was easy, but then my husband decided to read the reviews.. Not very good I have to say, but he said lets still go eat there as we had been before. We were greeted very warmly , given a nice window...

We had 3 nights at this hotel while watching the British Masters Golf at The Grove. I'd certainly recommend this place and would happily return when we need a hotel in this area. Room was good and Chef & Brewer menu was really good. We had dinner over 3 nights and there was a good menu choice.

First time at this place on business, a little dated in places, bed large and comfy and rooms are clean. Reception service poor, mostly unmanned. Wifi hit and miss (poor during my stay due to issues and very frustrating), mobile phone signal (Vodaphone) very poor. Views ok, overlooks village green, picturesque. Nothing much in walking distance of this hotel apart...
