I can see why a lot of people would leave bad reviews, the hotel is very basic, BUT, if all you need is a bed for the night as we did then it does the job. We had room 5, a funny little room with a strange bed layout but it was warm, quiet and fairly comfortable. Very cheap. It...

Was dreading this visit after reading the reviews AFTER I booked, was almost just going to forget it and lose the money but with 5 in the family plus dog it would have meant staying at home. Boy am I glad we went. Was met by a lovely lady who had our booking on a mobile app, and she took...

Hi my husband and I stayed here over 2 nights this weekend and found the room in hotel to be clean and comfortable. Shower was very good and it does need some TLC but it is no way as awful as people are making out. The lady who runs it could not have been more helpful

What a disgusting hell hole. I would not go back if I was paid to stay!! Where shall I start! Everything was extremely run down filth everywhere.was really looking forward to a little break with my husband and some friends away from our kids for some adult time and this place ruined it. When we arrived we were met by...

In fairness, having eventually found a door to enter, (doorbells don't work or the phone numbers), we were met by a man, who was expecting us and showed us a room. I burst into tears as it was so bad. Damp on the walls, stains on the carpets; whole building subsiding. I can't describe the scene. I'VE TRAVELLED INDIA ON...

This is not a hotel. The pub is nothing to do with the rooms out the back apparently. The rooms are dreadful, wouldn't pay £10 for them never mind the £45 I ended up paying. The so called bed was so hard couldn't wait to get up and actually left early so that I could get some sleep on the...

This place does NOT merit the name hotel! From the moment I was shown to a dingy, dirty room by a drunken woman things remarkably got worse. I would have left immediately but there was no room anywhere else (believe me I checked). The room: worn out beds- you could feel the springs, wood chip wallpaper, no hot water in...

First off when I arrived at this "are you local" type of establishment I was met with many stares, finally someone pointed me towards a lady who had obviously been drinking, I told her how I had a room booked for the evening and she had a look on her phone and said I wasn't on the list even though...

Basic is the kindest way of putting it. Our room had two beds and a tiny wobbly table, nothing else. No wardrobe or hangers, no drawers, no washstand, nothing. Shared bathroom we knew about, but shared tea/coffee facilitie on the landing. Nowhere was serviced during our two night stay, not even the public areas. Dirty cups and spoons were left...
