We visited for the weekend at short notice. The campsite was easy to book and last minute. We paid £40 for two nights non electric camping. The site is perfect and quiet and tucked away for peace. The facilities are brilliant and always clean. There is always ample showers and washing facilities. The pitches are spacious with room for tent...

Hello! Myself and the team here at Red Shoot are really pleased that you enjoyed your weekend with us. It is always gratifying to hear that the cleanliness of our facilities is appreciated, our staff work really hard to maintain the high standards we achieve and recognition for this hard work is very much appreciated. - thank you! We stayed here over the Easter weekend with our camper van. The site is very well located in the Forest, with walks from the site directly into it. Staff are very welcoming and present on site, cleaning the immaculately kept facilities (loos and showers - heated floor a big bonus on a cold morning) and maintaining areas. The site shop...

We stayed here twice on our short camper van tour of the New Forest and would definitely use the site again in the future. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the shop has the basics and the toilet block is lovely with free hot showers and underfloor heating too! My only criticisms would be that the showers don't have...

We paid for electric hook-up and used a two way adapter so we could run electric hook-up into the campervan as well as the awning, which we always do at every campsite and have never had issues previously... However the electric kept blowing a fuse. As the site was almost empty and we were the only ones on our side...

Thank you for your reviewing your recent stay with us. It's a shame that you weren't able to comment on any other aspects of our camping park such as facilities etc. to give users of TripAdvisor an overall view of the Red Shoot. With regards to your complaint, at no point was anyone rude to you during you time here,...

We stayed here in our campervan, check in was easy and we were shown our pitch and advice given on the best way to park due to the ground being a bit soggy. Facilities were clean and very well kept. Nice little shop onsite that you can pre-order papers croissants for the next day.

Turned up to find the site a complete quagmire. Thought they should have rung us to let us know. Van full of mud and soaking as had to walk on grassed area to get out of the van. Realise the weather isn't their fault but still think they should have contacted us.

Thank you for your review, it's a shame you apparently didn't enjoy your stay with us, however, we are quite clear in all our literature and on our website that our site is grass and we do not have any hard standing pitches. Having said that, last weekend we turned away numerous potential visitors so that we could accommodate those...

Hello Gary, thank you very much for your review. We value all feedback but especially enjoy hearing such positive comments. As I've mentioned in previous responses, we are planning a refurbishment of the shower/toilet facilities over the winter so hopefully you'll be even more impressed if you visit again next year! Jaqui.
