Stayed for 1 night with my family of 5. We were really impressed with the room and the breakfast was the best we have had so far. Kids liked the garden with waterproof table tennis paddles. Originally I had not wanted to stay in Lyndhurst but really glad we did.

Stayed as a party of adults for a New Year break. Location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Lyndhurst town centre and with ample off-road parking. Our room was a good size and comfortable. Betty was very hospitable and provided useful suggestions on places to visit and pubs to try. Breakfast was substantial and well-prepared, setting us up well...

A run of the mill UK B& B, needs better upkeep to warrant "super" status. Breakfast was cold, friendly enough owners but do shop around before you book this place. You probably get a modern full facilities hotel for cheaper.

Upon arrival we were not greeted and instead had an envelope pinned to the front door with our name on and room key inside. We thought this as very laid back, perhaps a bit reckless? As anyone who might have approached the door could have just taken the envelope and helped themselves to a room?? We were never formally checked...

I recently visited Burwood Lodge whilst touring the South of England with friends. We hadn't booked so tried pot luck. Burwood Lodge is a substantial house standing in large gardens just a minutes walk from Lyndhurst town centre. There is ample off road parking to the front which enabled us to park our motorcycles securely out of the way. Our...

Stopped for one night at Burwood and wasn't disappointed, bedroom was tasteful and ample room with en-suite, had a lovely walk in shower and toilet. Location is good being only a minute walk from the high street in Lyndhurst, although it is located on the main road it is set back with ample parking in front of the house with...

We arrived in Lyndhurst mid-afternoon after choosing not to stay at another pre-booked B&B. We rang to see if the Burford Lodge had any rooms available and were lucky enough to be given their large ground floor twin room with doors onto the garden. The room is adapted for disabled visitors and has all adaptations necessary including a large shower...

My husband and I booked a room at Burwood Lodge over the Jubilee weekend, only to arrive and be told that no room had been reserved and the landlady had no idea of our booking. We showed the landlady our confirmation email, reminder email and the receipt of £50 holding fee, but still she had no idea. Strangely, a few...

This lovely neutrally decorated B&B is very convenient to local pubs ( Waterloo Arms) and a very good Indian restaurant ( Passage to India). Good Parking and a very welcoming host who can take you through walks and attractions in the local area. A good sized guest lounge has a computer with internet access, a pool table and a conservatory...
