Stayed here on a Friday night before going over to the IoW on the ferry. It was a very pleasant stay, nice old hotel, good location, plenty of parking, friendly staff, good service, pleasant garden area to have drinks, excellent dinner and breakfast. The only problem was that we arrived by car just after 5 pm from the east of...

My first stay at The Crown and it won't be my last. The rooms are clean and comfortable but can be noisy because of creaky floorboards but I suppose you have to expect that in an old building. The food more than makes up for that, exceptional including the breakfast. Check out the lift!!!!

Found this hotel and booked via their own website. Nice property in the heart of Lyndhurst. The hotel itself is old in character with some original features making it feel comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly but courteous. We ate in both nights and had good food, well presented. The bedroom was up in the eaves and so quaint...

Ideally located for us as we wanted to go to Southampton the next morning to join a cruise so thought why not enjoy a bit of the New Forest and sample a nice hotel on the way. Finding it was a little difficult in the Lyndhurst one way system but we got it at the second attempt and the first...

Our room (one of the superior doubles) was very clean, very modern but had a slightly odd layout fitting a bedroom, bathroom (no window) desk area and small seating area into a reasonably small space. The only thing that chokes me is knowing how much it cost (a premium weekend rate) It was fine and I'd stay at the hotel...

We thought the hotel was great. We were upgraded to a suite for the night which was very nice. Big room with comfortable bed and great bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and had everything you could possibly want. Would have given the hotel a 5 star but ate dinner in the hotel and were not impressed at all. Service was not...

Hotel was very welcoming. Staff was polite and professional. Lovely room, very comfortable bed. Food was amazing!! Good produce and good price. Barman even did a little free styling with the cocktails for me as their was none on menu containing rum. Lovely all round experience. Would definitely recommend and would come again. Many thanks Dot

My sister and I stayed here for one night at the beginning of June to meet up with a group of friends. We all thought the hotel was excellent and couldn't find fault in anything. The facilities were good and the staff friendly and helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were of a high standard. Our room, although small, was perfectly...

A nice weekend break. Hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast was 100 times better than I expected! Location is great and close to the New Forest! Recommend Hurst Castle and Beaulieu as both were great days out! Only downside was we didn't have enough time to do more!
