cleanliness left too much to be desired: filthy bath, used bar of soap with pubic hair on it represented the free toiletries no doubt, wifi did not work on my computer and the free parking you have to see to believe. Oh, and I forgot to mention overpriced.

We stayed for one night in the chalet annex, which is a self-catering facility. Great facilities - fridge, walk-in shower, large sink, good heating, very clean and comfortable. We were made to feel so very welcome by Julia, who provided milk and offered us cereal, in spite of the fact we were self-catering. Sadly, we were informed that the chalet...

Way overpriced for what it was - a bed for the night. Peculiar reception - more of a brief encounter with uninterested staff. Very dissappointing, especially given the good reviews on Trip Advisor and the price - 90£ for for room only for one night.

Compared to impersonal hotels in the area Julia and James will do their very best to make you welcome. The location is perfect for my work and it is very secluded and quiet, there is a bus that runs right outside, shop nearby and pub 10 mins walk which is adequate for my dining needs. Recommended

The difference between hotels and B&B is, basically, hotels all aspire to be the same (with some tweaking on the margins) and B&Bs are…well…'different'. Most B&Bs we stay at reflect the owner in some way, and this certainly does. It is a kind of 'Marmite' experience - you'll either love it or hate. We certainly didn't hate it - though...

We booked all three rooms. None of them had a bedside light . The shared bathroom was OK but the tiny shower cubicle and toilet in the en suite double room was a real squeeze! Neither of the two staff were able to explain to us how the electric shower worked. There were some underpants some previous visitor had left...

This guesthouse was immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and provided for every need. The garden was particularly delightful. We were able to order takeaway pizzas and eat them in the summerhouse, which lit up as the sun went down. What a find!

Husband and I stayed here during Romsey show weekend. Family house rather than a hotel. Room shared bathroom with another guest room. Clean and tidy room reasonable price didnt have breakfast as Romsey close by through short walk via canal path and several options which are cheaper. Pleasant hosts. Only minor point room could have done with towel rail.

Stayed two nights here, Booked via booking Agency very smooth transaction. Pleasant rooms clean and tidy. Shared bathroom. Garden looked wonderful, sadly weren't able to sit out as we were visiting family and didn't get time but it looked inviting! Parking on site was useful and only a short walk into Romsey town centre. Breakfast freshly cooked, but a little...

Located just out side of the town center, the room was clean with en suit bathroom, nice comfortable room, it was not on a main road, so a quiet nights sleep, but go to the bottom of the hill and you are in the town center, good selection of bars and restaurants in the town, and only fifteen minutes from...
