We recently popped into the hotel for Sunday morning coffee and biscuits, these were lovely, such a shame we didn't order food. Particular mention to the lovely fair haired young man on the bar who's name we didn't catch who was telling us little bits of history and who was clearly passionate about his place of work, really enhanced the...

We arrived for the wedding of some friends. The hotel grounds are well kept and looked great on the day. The food served throughout was to a very high standard and worthy of praise. The hotel itself is an impressive building with period features. Some great backdrops for good wedding day photos. The bar was a tad expensive, paying £2.20...

My daughter won a raffle at work which was morning tea and biscuits for six people. So she invited me to bring a friend. Also her mil brought a friend. Wow what a beautiful place. We were taken to a lovely sunny room where a coffee table was laid out with china. We were asked if we wanted tea or...

We had an event for 50 people an anniversary dinner. It was for us a very important occasion and The Elvetham staff supported us and certainly made the whole event extremely special. It was an occasion to be remembered and all of the guests seemed to think that way. The staff were all so courteous and smiley. Andrew, the Restaurant...

It was my first visit to the Elvetham and it was a treat to go to a private event. What a beautiful building and grounds. A lovely dinner in the library, great decor and a lovely singer followed by a band.

This venue needs to be seen. Don't be fooled or put off by the 3 star rating, you wouldn't believe how much the lack of a lift effects ratings! This place is stunning. Former home of Jane Seymour (Royal wife, not actress) peppered with period features and stunning formal gardens. If I were to remarry, i'd do it here and...

My daughter's wedding was held at The Elvetham 7 years ago, it really was a dream from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble everyone was made to feel welcome and special. The food perfect, breakfast wonderful, not one single complaint and it seems from the latest reviews nothing has changed over the past years.

We got married at The Elvetham in September 2016 and I can honestly say that everything on their part was faultless. I was dubious in the run up because our wedding coordinator left and we had no communication for some months, only to then find we were dealing with someone different. However, Jenny N was an absolute star. I could...

Not only is this an interesting historic building and grounds, but the service and attention to detail is difficult to fault. We were guests at a function and stayed afterwards. Afternoon tea was quintessentially exactly what English afternoon tea should be and the dinner was superb - the food and service being difficult to fault. The room with a king...

Stayed overnight when on business in the area. Easy to find, a short drive from Hartley Wintney. A bit strange on entry as the gates were closed, but they are automatic and open when approached. Had a room in the annex building opposite the main entrance, which was accessed via a spiral staircase and a little difficult to navigate with...
