All very good. First room had broken radiator but no problem to change to another room. Really good value and very comfortable. Bathroom was fine and towels provided. All very clean. Only downside was that not always someone on reception.
Stayed 5 nights ( unfortunately my company book the rooms). Working nights, I got to my room at 7am. Went to bed then at about 10am the noise started. Housekeeping obviously dont know what ""Do not Disturb" means. Shouting each others names down corridor, chatting about this and that outside my door. Its not good enough. I realise cleaning has to be done but as a vast majority of your guests are night shift workers a little more common decency wouldnt go amiss. Also lack of plug sockets, I had 2 in the whole room. The heating only takes the chill off the room. Good job I dont suffer with the cold. I have recommended to my company not to book this hotel again.
Great value hotel. The staff were just wonderful. Made us very welcome and comfortable. Not certain what more I can say to fill 200 characters I’m not really able to write a dissertation. It was a very good budget hotel. Please let that be enough. I’m bored now
We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times while visiting family, and agree with a previous reviewer that it's getting worse. Overall, the room was tired and dirty. There was limescale in the bath, chewing gum stuck in the vent above the shower and the carpet was filthy. This hotel desperately needs a revamp. I honestly can't understand why it is so expensive either compared to other Travelodges - I've paid less in central London! it's not close to anything but is extremely overpriced considering how run down it is. The staff on reception were polite, but I'd struggle to stay here again given the state of the rooms and the cost.
All fine. The room door closed and latched. The Wi-Fi worked. The receptionist gave me the room key; and I returned the next day. A very predictable / reliable stay. The M&S in Alton provides for a excellent breakfast.
Convenient place to stop on our way to the south west. The receptionist was really helpful allowing us to have a room facing the car park instead of the back of the building as this was much brighter. A short walk to the town centre. Clean, comfortable and ample parking
Adequate free hotel car parking. Well located for motorway network and for visiting the local area whether for a one night stay or for slightly longer. Check in was fast and efficiant with friendly staff. The hotel is looking a little tired and could do with a revamp although the room was clean. Comfortable bed as always and low ambient noise resulted in a good sleep. All the usual Travelodge room facilities. Its a budget hotel and you get what youy pay for. I would have no hesitation in staying again under similar circumstances
We stayed two nights at this Travelodge. Never again. We had no towels until the afternoon of the second day. The room was dirty. Filthy skirting boards, cobwebs around the bedside table lamps. Thick dust along the top of headboard, and the windows we black with mould. In the middle of a pandemic this level of hygiene and housekeeping is totally unacceptable. Obviously, Travelodge couldn’t care less as we have emailed the CEO twice but have not had a reply from anyone .
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Jane and Niko. Nothing was too much trouble at what was a difficult time for me personally.. The breakfast boxes were great value and whenever I needed a top up of toiletries and/or tea and coffee facilities these were always provided in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend this hotel for its friendliness and value for money.
We stayed in room 6. Smelt of damp and judging by the carpet has definitely seen better days. I thought travelodge were a good chain. Basic but clean and fresh, unfortunately this has not been our experience at Four Marks The bed was clean and fresh though. Would have loved it to have been different as if so. It would have been our go to place to stay.
