Rooms absolutely shocking, soap dispensers held with tissue, mould everywhere, the smell is stale , you can hear every bit of noise, I did not get a great sleep at all. Wi-Fi is non existent so would not pay for that at all

Stayed over for a family funeral. Mum is elderly so we had a twin accessible room on ground floor by main doors. Room fine but bathroom is a bit tired and in need of updating. No net at window so had to close the curtains for privacy.

The hotel is in a fantastic location within easy access to the main travel hub, the staff are fantastic and will bend over backwards to help, but it’s in a desperate need of renovation the place is letting the company down

The room was stinking of cleaner, there was mould round the sink and the curtain was torn. Supposedly you can't just look I need to produce evidence. It's not the Hotels job to check the room I was given, I should take photos do this and that.

Me and my family had a lovely stay at this hotel, as soon as we checked in we could feel the Christmas spirit! Our room as spacious and clean but very basic facilities but did the job! The staff were very kind and always seemed happy which our children loved!

Brilliant service from Leila at Travelodge Southampton Eastleigh. There was some confusion with the bookings made and Leila was so helpful in sorting this out for us on arrival, with no inconvenience at all. Thank you Leila!

I amended the booking from a 2 night stay to a 1 night stay and had to pay £10 for the privilege. I would have been better off not amending, as it was a saver rate booking - so not only did I not receive a refund for the extra night - I paid the price of the room + the £10 amendment fee. The room was then probably re-let - thereby getting you 2 payments for the same room + my amendment fee. This charge is totally unnecessary, as a quick alteration online freeing the room to be rebooked, wouldn't have cost a penny!!!

One night pitstop before cruise due to price vs other travelodge’s. Hotel was quite tired, no lift either which was awkward as we were on the first floor with a baby. Room smelt musty, and bathroom fixtures had seen better days. Mattress very soft, bit of a back breaker. Our gripe here was a requirement to sterilise our babies bottles in the microwave. We were told it wasn’t possible due to policy. To add insult to injury, my wife heard the member of staff (whom I believe was a supervisor) gossiping on the phone about the discussion, how we got irate and she put us in our place… then had the blind cheek to say when confronted that she was talking about someone else, whilst very red faced! Unprofessional behaviour, and of course everyone has policies, but within reason situation should dictate. The situation here meant great difficulty feeding our 7 month old daughter!!…
