Other reviewers have captured the essence of this place. It's a down-market bed and breakfast which you'd use if you were on a budget and just needed a place to bed down for a night or two. It is dated and pretty shabby, but everything works (including the wifi) and Nigel the proprietor is friendly and helpful. It's no holiday...

Got a warm welcome from owner . Rooms are what you would expect from a budget b+b clean , but a bit dated great for a night or two . Would stay again if back in the area . I was in the twin at the back . Very quiet and on suit . Just a short 5 minute walk...

I booked this online a few days before going, I thought it was overpriced for what state things were in. Parking was down the road at a car park which is pay and display in the daytime. I had to ring when I arrived and to be let in which took a while. The room was dated and dirty, it...

Would not recommend this guest house to anyone unless you get the room for £15 Arrived at 1630 and phoned them up as there was no answer at the door. No one was available to let me in so had to take suitcase to spoons and wait until till 7pm to return and check in. There was a pleasant welcome,...

We had an excellent experience on a 1-night stop over here. No fuss, no faffing, the place is clean the room was comfortable, quiet, warm and suited our needs. We were left alone with no interruptions, the owners Carol and Nigel were very friendly and helpful without being suffocating. The breakfast was ample, fresh and very well cooked and served...

I was made to feel unwelcome from the moment I booked this B&B. There are no staff on site you Ned to phone in advance to get the owner to let you in. I had to justify the reason why I was checking in at 9pm. Once there there is no check in desk just a narrow entrance which does...

You get exactly what the website shows. The room we had was clean and had good wifi reception. Homeleigh is not only across the street from the Eastleigh train yards, but there is a street crossing light and stairs to the bridge over the tracks nearby. It is also close to several good restaurants and the Eastleigh train station and...
