I was really pleased to find my pet could be accommodated. The staff were helpful and gave me a quiet room as requested. The room was basic but totally adequate for what I wanted. It was spotlessly clean. I will come again. Good value.

We stayed in this Travelodge for 2 nights. Checking in was easy and the staff were helpful. The room was also good, with the only complaint being that the rails in our bathroom (we had a room with disability support) we’re abit dirty. The breakfast in the morning was great and Mit Gurung, the lovely lady who looks after breakfast, did an amazing job if making sure we were okay and that everything was topped up.

We stayed for a night for a intake renuion and loved our stay. Its in the heart of the town centre. We also had breakfast booked for the following morning. What a lovely breakfast buffet it was. Kids ate for free. Kids got bit too excited and one of the staff Hit Gurung help to keep them settled. She also offered other help to the kids Over all great experience

To start, The reception stuff were not very attentive and just mumbled speaking to us so we could barely hear what they were saying and there wasn’t anyone around in the morning to talk to about what happened during the night too. The room had loads of dead flies all in the lights and you could hear some flies buzzing all the time whenever you had the lights on, so we had to keep them off as it was pretty gross. The room was really cold when we got in from the window being left open and it felt pretty dark and dingy. When we turned up at night after coming back from a birthday meal to the hotel, there was a man lying on the floor literally right outside of the entrance to go in blocking the way, he looked like he’d been beaten up and was bleeding and could barely talk from either drink or drugs which was quite frightening and had us on edge wondering what had happened, the security guard had to drag him in and find out what room he was in. Once we started to fall asleep at 2am there was a lot of noise coming from the hallways and other rooms that sounded like shouting and two people arguing. This had all made us feel quite worried and I was struggling to get to sleep with us also both thinking someone was going to come into our room, which is what it sounded like with the constant noise and walking up and down the hallway etc. Not to mention lots of people outside being noisy too (which we know can’t be helped due to it being a Saturday night). After we started to drift off and fall asleep, at about 4 am we were woken up by banging, shouting, and screaming! We woke up in a panic, wondering what was going on, so we kept listening to find out. We heard police shouting “you are under arrest” a few times and what sounded like a woman screaming and shouting with lots of banging. Eventually the police got the person out and we could see outside our window a police van and two cars with about 5 police offices around this person before shoving them into the van. Terrible stay, felt unsafe and couldn’t wait to leave in the morning. We were contemplating leaving in the night it was that bad.
